Mahatma Gandhi - he is known for his nonviolence movement. Nothing like it existed in the world. It's moral strength has moved the very foundations of the British Empire and brought freedom to India.

I think I know quite a few people in the sense of integrity as "consistency." Someone who always follows the rule "Do what seems to be the most selfish thing" might not be someone we would call good, but that person would exhibit integrity as long as he or she infallibly followed the rule. So, I know plenty of people with moral shortcomings, but their behavior, given those shortcomings, is quite predictable. In that sense they act with integrity.
