Oh, I didn't know that at all. Maybe I haven't been awarding enough points?
-
I always have and I always will.
-
yes always.:)
-
yes i do .. and then in the comment box i leave a note saying BBWP (be back with points) or ask if someone who comes upon my answer could please award points on my behalf, and they usually do :)
-
I guess that is why it sometimes doesn't work. This is news to me. What is the quota? I would still answer their questions, but might feel bad about not being able to give points.
-
Sure. I will come back later with points.
-
Yes. Why would I skip answering a good question just because I was out of points? That just doesn't make sense to me.
-
Yes, I do. I normally say that I am out of points so that the questioner knows that I wasn't remiss in rewarding points. When I am consistently out of points for another user, he/she probably knows that I will give back the points when I am able to. It may not be on the same question or answer, but I am not greedy with my point gun at all :-)
-
Yes I do. Many of them have good questions that I like to answer.
-
Yes, I do. This is the part where the points don't matter anymore. I answer because I love to answer questions. Points, whether given or received, become secondary.
-
I hand out IOU's. If there are any out there that I haven't paid back yet... please let me know. ;)
-
Yes because I'm sure they would appreciate all my knowledge (giggles) Then give out IOU's.
-
Yes, it happens to me all the time. I still answer their questions
-
Yep! I certainly do! . I'd much rather be able to give them points as well, but that's the way the bubble breaks.
-
Yes I do. I forget I can't give them anymore points until the popup box appears when I try to.
-
I still answer their questions.
-
It does not happen to me very often, but I would rather take it as a signal that I have been focusing too much on the questions of some particular user. To give other users their chance, I would stop focusing on this user's question (looking systematically for their questions). However, if I were just looking in a global list with every people's question and I found an interesting question of this user, I would answer it.
-
Yes, of course. I don't take that into account. If the user is "on a roll" -so to speak-, I still like to answer their questions very much. If I see a good question in which I think I might be able to help, I answer it, no matter who asks it. If I'm not able to give points to a certain user, I often leave a comment after my answer.
-
If I really like their questions, I will continue to answer their questions even when their plus button grays out for me. I usually wait a few days and award them points when their plus button brightens again for me.
-
Yes, certainly.
