  • Only 3-4, 7-8 days is too long. Smell it fresh and smell it at 6-7. You'll know!
  • Butcher paper wrapped 1 to 2 days. Platic wrapped 2 to 3 days. Zippered plastic bag 3 to 4 days. These numbers are for fresh, deli sliced, properly refrigerated product.
  • depends on temperature and packageing. a week is about normal. if it dont stink and aint slimy i would eat it.
  • No more than 3-4 days. Plus, you really don't know for sure how long it sat before you got it.
  • Meat should only be kept 3 days in the fridge and 3 hours at room temp. Longer if you freeze it.
  • Assuming it has been kept refrigerated deli roast beef meat 7-8 days old is certainly not at it's it's optimum freshness. Rule of thumb, however, is if it smells OK, it usually won't seriously hurt you.
