Internet Explorer 7. I just rebooted my computer so I haven't got FireFox yet but I think it's better.
-
Firefox..and Internet Explorer. I just got a new laptop and I'm deciding which one it likes better. So far Firefox.
-
The wonderful Firefox
-
Internet Explorer. I gues...it's kinda annoyinggg
-
Firefox 2 and Safari sometimes. I refuse to IE. I call up a friend when I need a website tested on IE.
-
Firefox 2.x
-
Firefox mostly. There are certain pages that only work in IE (anything with Active X), so I can't ditch it completely. But Firefox 99% of the time. I loves me some Firefox.........
-
FireFox
-
At work we use IE6, but I'm a Firefox.
-
Internet Explorer Version 7 (the latest) ...not by choice....
-
Firefox
-
Yahoo.
-
I'm jumping on the Firefox train. WOOWOO!
-
foxfire
-
At work it has to be windows explorer, which I hate. I use Mozilla Firefox at home and the email program that goes with it. Very good - much better than Microsoft crap!
-
FF
-
MSIE 6.0
-
Firefox. It seems better in every way...
-
MSIE 7.0
-
Firefox!
-
Firefox. Dont use IE beta, it crashes often
-
Firefox. Die hard fan of this!
-
Opera. All the way.
-
I like Firefox OK but I keep coming back to IE7.
-
IE, not because it's better, it's crap. Im just most used to it.
-
I've only ever used IE and Firefox. Out of those two my favourite is FF.
-
firefox
-
Internet Explorer. It may not be the best there is, but I feel more comfortable with it. Firefox is nice too, but I prefer IE.
-
Firfox. Customizable, neat extensions, tabs(although IE has them now too), good integration with my download manager, easy to port profiles, so you can use it with the portable version on your USB drive. I use IE Tab, so I can open a website using IE, within firefox, if needed. Great Password manager (with master password). Awesome themes. Neat bookmarks toolbar. Adblock. (Haven't seen an ad in months. To me, this site is completely ad free!). Well I guess that sums it up.
-
FireFox 2.0.0.4
-
I like internet explorer firefox actually did my head in! what about u?
-
I use another Mozilla browser called SeaMonkey because I found it to be faster than either Internet Explorer OR Firefox. It's got a lot of the same features that Firefox does, but seems to function better.
-
I prefer FireFox, my experience with my needs and my machine (computer) demonstrates for me that FireFox works better, is more secure and has more functionality to it. I note that the more recent version of Explorer attempts to copy many of the features of Firefox. While FireFox has tabbed for years, Explorer has only now caught up. It is obvious to me that the designers of Explorer also believe that FireFox is the Template upon which they should build their product... perhaps this means they too think FireFox is better?
-
I used to like Firefox more until it started to slow and and mess up my computer. So I stick to internet explorer. Though I do remember the one thing I did dislike about firefox was I had to highlight things more than once to do something on IE that could have been done with only one highlight. It's a bit hard to explain, but very annoying.
-
Firefox easily. (Notice avatar) Internet Explorer 5 is the most annoying piece of internet software ever devised. Firefox is unbelievably flexible and customizable, is 100 times more secure than IE, and has a totally sweet logo. (Once again, notice avatar) :)
-
I just changed from Internet Explorer to Firefox - And it's been a lot better + 5
-
Definitely Firefox. I've also developed a crush on Opera, but unfortunately opera and answerbag don't get along real well so I mainly stick to firefox.
-
FIREFOX AND MOZILLA THUNDERBIRD ALL THE WAY!!!!!! explorer sucks rocks!
-
I find both interesting. One great advantage of Firefox was Tabbed browsing, but now Internet Explorer 7 has it too. In Firefox, I think it is easier to stop annoying advertisement, such as those popups in the text of our answers on AB. But if you do this, some features of a lot of web pages will not appear either. Firefox is an open source product, so it would be nice to support them. But the problem with Firefox is that it is not always compatible with Microsoft products. So if you are one of these 5% linux users, you may use Firefox. On an up-to-date computer with Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 7 is in moment the best choice, I think. Of course, you can also use both of them! Hint for downraters: the presentation of a different opinion as yours could be more useful that another justification of your choices!
-
Firefox without a doubt.
-
Between Firefox and Internet Explorer, I choose Firefox. However, I also use Yahoo, Opera, and Safari. Each one has pros and cons.
-
I use Firefox. Sites are quite often rendered incorrectly in Internet Explorer. Being a perfectionist, IE makes me cringe. Also, I need several Firefox extensions to be happy. Without the Web Developer and Firebug extensions, it's hard to debug my websites. The Mouse Gestures one makes it really easy to navigate. FireFTP, ProxyButton, and AdBlock Plus make my life easier.
-
Mozilla works best. I can view all of my websites on both Mozilla and Internet Explorer, but Internet Explorer frequently pauses and Mozilla doesn't.
-
Firefox of course! There's a new plug-in for the firefox browser that makes searching simple no matter what search engine you like to use. Check out the 90 second demo here: http://www.visual-search.net/Visual%20Search%202/Visual%20Search%202.html get the Firefox plug-in here: http://www.visual-search.net People seem to really love this one!
-
I use Firefox, and the following extensions: - 1-ClickWeather - Adblock Plus - del.icio.us
-
I had always been a Netscape or Netscape Communicator user because it had so many features that were more useful to me than Internet Explorer. I really hated IE. I don't like their mail software, Outlook either. But I loved Netscape's mail. Then I discovered Firefox and Thunderbird. It was just like my favorite Netscape of old, only better! And it keeps getting better. It is leaving IE in the dust!
-
I use both Firefox and IE.
-

Mozilla Firefox on my work PC and home PC. Mozilla Camino on my home Mac. Mozilla makes the best browser in my opinion. IE blows!
-
Firefox for me too.

SeaMonkey, a Mozilla product, and Firefox. SeaMonkey is a faster browser, imho - at least on my pc.
-
Firefox here also.
-
I'm an IE user. I never knew that so many people used firefox. What's so great about it?
-
I looooooove Firefox. When I have to use someone else's computer and have to use IE, I just can't stand it. You can customize Firefox to your exact preferences, and I've customized the heck out of my browser. I don't like clutter, and I don't want to sort through all sorts of menus, so I've set it up to be very simple. There are lots of excellent user-designed themes available. It's easier to block ads and popups, I can open as many tabs as I want at once, and the search engine drop-down menu is all set to search Google, Amazon, Wikipedia, Ebay, Alltunes, IMDB, or any Bittorrent site. I also have a Woot! ticker so I can catch any of those crazy sales before they're gone, and a FoxyTunes ticker as well. I also have StumbleUpon on my computer at home, for when I'm in the mood for random browsing. All this and it's FREE. Once you try it you'll never go back to IE. I've converted everyone I know!

-
Firefox
-
Firefox without a doubt!
-
Firefox is, hands down, 1000% better than IE.
-
I find Firefox to be faster, more customizable, and much more secure (vulnerabilities are fixed within days, not weeks, and tend to be much less serious than IE problems). A good overview of Firefox's features: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Features_of_Mozilla_Firefox
-
Definetely Firefox! It provides much more functionality compared to any other web browsers, and also the survey has revealed that it is the most used browser.
-
Firefox - it's faster, more secure, easier to customise and has great add-ons like AdBlock Plus.
-

I am a BIG fan of Maxthon. It seems to have the most addons, plugins, skins & layouts wherein you can choose just the ones you want. Worldtraveler, what is your favorite browser?

The one that came with my computer, because it came with my computer.

Firefox.

IE7 allthough many people seem to be moving to firefox and not sure why
-
Mozilla Firefox, v2.0.0.12 at the time of writing.

I used to be for I.E. (what was I thinking!!) But now I'm totally for Firefox. =) Great popup blocker.
-
SeaMonkey for PC and Safari for Mac.

My opinion: Anything from Microsoft is personally invasive, impossible to secure and unsafe to use. Firefox is, as of today, far superior in every respect; it being offered by, worked on and frequently updated by some terrific people. No, I've no affiliation with them, but they have solved problem for me. My advice is: "Don't let them in!" Particularly, do not even have IE anywhere on you hard drive; after a little research, I wiped my drive (zeroed it out and reformatted it) and reinstalled everything. I stay away from MS sites.I've no grudge, just total mistrust and lack of confidence in everything Microsoft. Why risk? Anything they have is available elsewhere. Ask the MS I.E. support people question, or express a concern, then do the same with Firefox. I won't even ask you to post on it, I already know the way it'll go.
