where I live you get fined if you don't take them down....and you have to file for a permit to put them up in the first place
-
Of course. Not doing so would be very inconsiderate. (Hint hint to those who don't do this) :o)

We just drive the sign home.

Yes because the signs I have are a matching set and made of wood. The 4 square signs for information have a safety glass front so if I want to change them by slipping a paper sign in them I can. this way weather does not harm the sign. I also have 20 arrow signs that match in color the information signs pointing the direction. all of the signs are designed with their own stake to place into the ground so no nailing a sign to a pole. Sounds fancy for a yard sale sign but I also use them for party guest that do not know where I live. I made sure to paint my address on each arrow so in case anyone wants to copy what I made, mine won't get confused with someone else's.

I think it would be appropriate to take the signs down, BTW, take down the ones which have obviously expired and tape them to the door of the offender.

Of course I do..I am not a litter bug:):)

YES!!! I take the signs down even when we close it down for the first night and then put them back up in the AM for the 2nd day.
