My Advent Q3235A television is having a problem with the whole screen turning to a heavy green tint intermittantly. Any ideas?

Hi JohnnyC, I can't help you with your problem but maybe you can fix mine...I need the codes for your remote from your TV manual. According to the company,one of them should work on my Digistar. Hopefully and lots pf luck with your Advent. Thanks, Puff97

A friend gave me his advent television because he was sick of the same thing happening to his. I gave it to my brother and he said that when he turns it on, if the color is normal, he turns it back off then back on. If the color is green, he flips the channel, then turns it off then back on. I asked him how that was supposed to help, and he replied that the color will then go back to normal for a short time. Did I mention that he was drunk when he told me this, and I just deal with the crappy things green tint before I turn it off and on over and over. Sorry P.S. what the heck is the code for the damn remote?!!? I cannot find a working code for the TV! Its really, really annoying like the green tint. thatnks advent for the quality or lack thereof
