Er, would it be safe and healthy to eat it after that long? If yes, sure why not.

That depends on how soon you find it. I have heard of some mammoths being found, still in the ice, that was fresh enough to eat. On the other hand, once the ice around it has melted, and the carcass has been sitting out in the sun for a few days, then I don' think that I would try it.

I have heard that artic dwellers do eat it. But I wouldn't unless I were starving, because you don't know if it has been partly unthawed many times over the last so many thousand years.

Mammoth meat? Are you kidding me? Of course! Just imagine how upset I could make PETA by doing that! Eating an animal I had ABSOLUTELY NO PART in its commercial success as a food animal! The totally GUILT FREE MEAT! I just want to see what they would come up with for THAT!
