What do you think about parents who let their kids play naked while at the shore?

I think... that they're letting their kids play naked. As long as they keep an eye on the kids, I don't care.

As long by kids are still toddlers and not over say maybe 3 years old, I don't see anything wrong with it.

I think its really sweet, but then again it is kind of stupid of the parents because there could be pedofil's around looking at there cute kids running around butt booty nacked. that though is kind of scary.

I'd worry about the sunblock, but that's about it. I burned butt would be horrible lol! If it were a crowded beach I really might worry though. Pedo's would get a lot more daring if they saw a nude child I believe.

i used to do this, and im ok. but in this day and age there is lot of child abusers out there and many sickos make alot of money from children sex offences, the younger the more money thtey will make, y? i have no bloody idea! toddlers love running around with no nappy on as they are 'free' but i think i will be 2 scared when they are old enough to wear a bathing suit to let them play naked, theres nothing wrong eith that

There's nothing really wrong with it outside of having to worry about some pedophile posting pictures of your child for other pedophiles to "enjoy".

It is sort of the picture of innocence, before the worries and inhibitions of growing up set in. The only real issue is that you don't know who may be watching.

It doesn't bother me, but I live in the states, so it really doesn't happy to much, that I have seen. There are many family nudist areas in the states that allow this, I would love to go, but my husband is opposed.

It's not done much anymore as so many people are afraid nowadays, but I remember it from my childhood and even seeing it happening in me teens and 20s. Whenever I saw it, it brought back fond memories. It's a terrific way to play outside when it's done it fun innocence. I wish it could be kept that way always, but I'm sure people have to be more careful now. I think if someone picks their place though, it's still a great activity.

I was fishing on an English river last year away from the crowds and a group of around 6 kids, aged from around 2-14, accompanied by 2 adults, were happily playing around naked. They weren't in the least bit worried about me being in close proximity. It brought back memories of my childhood when we used to skinny dip in the sea but it also gave me a sense of unease as to what other people passing, may have thought of me!

I want to know why babies are allowed on the beach during holidays anyway! I mean, they've never worked a day in their life!

I don't see anything wrong with it if they are certain that they are alone... When I was little I was almost always running around somewhere naked, in the pool in the summer or in the very least had on undies... but that was our own yard. But these days, it is not appropriate in public as there are simply too many people out there who would take advantage of such a thing. I for one could never just live and let live and ignore the thought of some creep in the bushes doing something nasty over one of my kids... I believe that would be their last day on earth if I caught them!

LOL. I am sure toy have a very nice place (from the pics it looks very appealing). I don't think you necessarily need anyone "policing" the place. I was just saying that if Ididn't want to be responsible for watching my own kids behaviour, then that may not be the place I'd want to take them.

Not that a swimsuit offers a lot of warmth, but I found it odd when I saw a couple letting their kid play naked at the Oregon coast... during early November.

I let my kids play naked at the beach if there is no one around. It is very freeing for them. I think they are cute and won't always have that kind of freedom, so why not let them have it when then can?

I think that children raised in an environment exposed to casual nudity, not a sexual environment, are better adjusted and have less problems with self esteem.

There is positivly nothing wrong with it(depending on the age of the children).Unfortunately, in the times we live in it might not be the safest thing to do or wisest choice.

If it's a nude beach or a private beach or if the kids were under the age of 5 or so then I would have few if any problems with it. If the kids were older than 5, on a public beach then I might find it distastefull. It depends on how the beach is zoned that would influence my opinion the most - not the nakedness of the people there.

Well I wouldn't let my kids play naked simply for safety reasons. Paedophiles mainly. But also the risk of too much sun on kids skin. They're very sensitive and letting them play naked could be putting them at risk of nasty sunburn and skin cancer in later life.

I once heard tell of a proposal to make heifers vear a 'bra' covering their udder (Yea, in America). I dont know if the tale was true, but reading the implied condemnation in the question I was rather reminded of that ;-) But take care. there are nettles, and twigs and stones. It freaks me out. You never know if the man sitting right next to your family is having sexual fantasies about your children. Blech! In your own yard, fine but why make it easier for all those creeps out there to get what they want??

As long as the kids are fine with it, fine. If there is a crowd, it might offend others. Most kids cover up on their own when they reach puberty.

Honestly, I do not see a problem with it if they are toddlers (2-6)but if they are older (7-older)Then they should already know that it's wrong to be in public in the nude and should only get naked at home only!
