it could be the family issues related with atheism and not family issues in general
-
It's directly under social sciences and is then a subcategory under "religion". I don't understand why it's under "religions"
-
Just thought of this: Should we atheists feel honored the AB staff left Family Issues up to us to solve? ;_)
-
A lot of atheists have issues with their families because they've grown up practicing some kind of religion, or religion is important to their parents, siblings, etc. "Family" is a whole category under Relationships and even has subcategories.
-
Because AB cult leaders think that all atheists have family issues related to their religion. My 2 cents.

The more vocal and extreme atheists emanate from broken or dysfunctional families created by a drastically changing society and culture. Parents and the home are the earthly God and world to youngsters in their formative years. Adverse nurture in as struggling and battling family structure in midst of what may seem at times as a world of happy families is morally debilitating. A lack of parental love and affection or abuse by one or both parents upon each other or towards the children creates an angry child maturing into a hardened and resentful adult. A society advocating choice of lifestyles further adds to this hatefulness of being damned to a home with an absence of love, peace or loving care. The rise of atheism is in direct correlation with the breakdown of what was known as the nuclear extended family and the destructuring of communities. Media purports the ideal; lifestyle generating further increase in anger of some at their own misfortune. Ill fortune or singular incidents also cause a loss of faith, but atheism deals more with a rejection of a God whose peace, love and conscience is not felt, a lack of consciousness of a greater power fuels negativity and hatred further. Maybe it is part orchestrated by a God who has forsaken a world led by hatred and intolerance and partly serves the forces of sin nature, greed and profiteering from a suffering and struggling peoples. The increase in anger and a hostile attitude leading to becoming a determined atheist results in a hardened attitude further distancing the peace, love and stability one subconsciously craves albeit in the form of independence from such wilful and malignant forces likely to evade mankind at their darkest hour of need.

The perfect Christians have no family issues Waa haa...Even I have to laugh at that one!
-
Maybe it was spposed to be placed under religion in general. No one is free from family issues and different beliefs can play a big role in those issues.
-
It's probably under several headings.
