  • No. Would you own or display a Canadian flag?
  • No, and I view people who fly the rebel flag as racist.
  • No... It doesn't match my color scheme.
  • No. I am a southern male and see both sides. I have not made my mind up on the issue.
  • no i would not but this guy i know does and even has a noose hanging from the flagpole.
  • I do not own or display a Confederate States of America Flag I sometimes wish I did. I do own a Confederate Battle Flag, but I do not display it; it is way too old to do that with it.
  • No i would not.To those of us here in the south who actually think,it is a sign of ignorance and hate.Something we are still trying to get past.
  • I do and I have.
  • In Germany everyone would just think i'm weird lol.
  • i've owned and displayed one before, but don't choose to anymore. i just don't think it's something that belongs in our modern era ;)
  • i do own one and yes i would display it proudly. im from the heart of dixie and very proud of it.
  • Yes and Yes :)
  • No I live in Ohio.
  • No. They lost...It's a joke, people.
  • No, but I do display the flag of the United States of America. And as we all know it takes a real rebel to do that in this day and age.
  • There's flag somewhere in the family. We had vets on both sides. My sentiments are the same as Rat-L-Trap on this one.
  • When I was a child, I was really interested in the Civil War. I'd go to all the local re-enactments and buy lots of antiques, as such, I've come into the possession of one. I, however, do not display it.
  • I am born and raised in Georgia, and up until a few years ago it WAS our state flag. Ive never owned one, and i usually frown upon it. People say 'Heritage not Hate' But why would you want to remember such a shameful time that HAD hate?
  • No, I have to many other positive and constructive ways to show pride in my Southern heritage. It was adopted when the South seceded from the U.S. of America, an action I'm not particularly proud of. The majority of the men who had to fight for the South and sacrifice their lives were poor farmers or the sons of poor farmers rather than the wealthy land and slave owners who stood to benefit from continued slavery. I respect any individual's right to own and display this flag. I proudly own and display the American Flag.
  • No, as I am from New York. However I have drawn a fair amount of derision from people over the WWII re-enactments that I started participating in about 10 years ago. It's a fun hobby, and I have portrayed all sides (U.S., German, Russian, French, British), but every time we have played "The Bad Guys"(there'd be no re-enactment without them), theres always somebody who has to say something. I was even interviewed by a lady from the SHOAH society once(supposedly for a book she was writing), and then my pic showed up in the local paper the following month in an article about "neo nazis" ;) I think this is pretty funny, considering my GF is Jewish
  • I would consider owning and displaying a Confederate flag, but only if it were displayed side by side with a 35-star Union flag.
  • I would no more display a Rebel flag than a Nazi or Japanese flag. All three of them declared war on the United States and killed thousands of men. Their common goal was to enslave people. What's to be proud of?
  • i come from texas.if people today were not so ignorent they would know that the rebel flag is a country's flag.well it once was.if blacks can say there african and we cannot denine there hertiage then i can fly a rebel flag because i refuse to denine mine..
  • The USA's flag was first flown as a rebel flag. Telling the British what they thought At the Boston Tea Party :-)
  • Oh definitely, I've got to keep my butt warm when I work in the garage.
  • This question is profoundly inexact. There was NO ensign known as the "Rebel Flag." I am familiar with the Flag of the Confederate States of America, aka the "Stars and Bars." I am familiar with the Confederate Naval Ensign, and I know of the Confederate Battle Flag. If you are refering to the Confederate Battle Flag. I am proud to own the banner under which so many brave and noble men fought and died.
