mostly used

I don't buy any novels. I borrow them from the library. Considering I get atleast 25/30 in a month. I'd be bankrupt if I bought all the books that I read:)
-
Both. I love books and I have so many of them.

Both. I buy books whenever I can, and I am at last amassing a small collection once again. I belong to a Book of the Month club as well.

New. I don't know why, but I like my stuff to be unscuffed...or if their scuffed, its my own scuffiness that did it. :) JK
-
Usually new, but then I pass them on to friend of mine when I'm done.
-
I buy them from charity shops and then give them back.. always feel like im helping someone that way..
-
both equally. I love books and buying all of them new gets way too expensive, but sometimes you just can't wait to get them used!
-
New. I don't get many opportunities to frequent used book stores like I did when I was younger.

Usually I check books from the library. You know, return one, check out another. I do have one I bought waiting called "The Race." It's a novel about a politician. This may sound stupid, but I am delaying reading that one until after the election because I don't want to confuse any of the fictional characters with the real politicians -- seems that would be way too easy to do, considering. ;-)

I usually get mine from a used book store. The one I go to will buy them back when I am finished. I even give used books as gifts. It saves more trees that way. Once in a while if a new book comes out that I don't want to wait on the paperback version I will buy new.

I buy both. About 50/50.
