  • Check out Banksy's stuff, and realise how subtle you can be: http://www.banksy.co.uk/menu.html
  • If you mean vandalizing places with paint, I suggest you confine yourself to the walls of your house, and then graduate to your car.
  • Don't.
  • Try to find classes focusing on urban art would be my bet. Beware ordinances that are pretty commonplace though that can get you in big trouble with the law.
  • If you are artistic then it should come with ease, just be creative and start making drawings even if your not happy with it, practice takes time.
  • Look at other writer's styles and see if anything catches your eye. Don't copy them, but see what works for you. Practice on paper before you hit the streets. Then when you think you're good enough, realize you aren't. But go out and wreck shit anyway. And if you don't care about art but get a rush from the vandalism, just tag. Public and school bathrooms are good places to practice. They look good tagged up anyway.
  • well this was asked in 2006. You should be somewhere by now :) The best you can do is to get involved with the graffiti culture in your city, and make friends with older graffiti writers. They will give you more help than you can ever learn by yourself.
