Well, without specifics of how many feet the RV is, how many axles, and wheels per axle, I can only guess, but say it's a 25 ft RV with a single rear axle with duals. GVW would be around 12,000 lbs. Towing capacity would be based more on the type of hitch being used on the back (If you use Class 3, as you should one any vehicle in my opinion, you should be able to pull 5000 lbs, with 500 lbs tongue weight.) That's all the class 3 hitch was designed to handle (although the tongue weight is frequently broken by people that don't know about balancing the load on the trailer.) But done properly, there should be almost no limit to what you can tow behind your RV, regardless of the GVW. When loading the actual RV, keep in mind that the 12,000 lbs GVW includes the weight of the RV itself, which is probably around 8,000 to 9,000 lbs.
