Never anything too strange at a wedding, but the strangest song I have ever heard was called "Smell Yo Dick" by Riskay. It's awful. Warning- Adult Content(if very tacky and immature)

I chuckle a little everytime someone plays U2's One as "their song".

You know what I'm going to say!

The song that goes "War! What is it good for?" It was just startling to hear it at a Christmas wedding.

I got married June 5, 1993 (Who cares? I know.) Anyway, neither of us could dance a lick. So, we figured that since they'll all be laughing at us anyway, may as well make it fun for all. This is no joke, am 100% serious. THIS was the first dance song at our wedding.

Night Fever by the Bee Gees in 1979.

I don't have a song to add. I just wanted to thank you for bringing it up! Just had a wonderful time reading 12 different replies so far. We human beings do lots of strange and wondrous stuff, don't we? I know two "40-somethings" who are working on their Reception music list as we speak - but the wedding is next saturday, so should be finalized "soon"! lol They did complete all hymns/music for the church ceremony. Their "exit song" (not sure what you call it .. but what's played now that they're married and are leaving the church together ...) is going to be "Amazing Grace". It's a wonderful and powerful hymn. My only problem is I associate it with funerals. (Won't say that to them, of course .. and I may be the only one on the planet who thinks that!) Scary to even type that. :) But hey - it's their wedding, so they should have it exactly as they want it and more power to them. :) Thanks for the weekend entertainment with this question. :)
