  • What does she say?
  • came out and said what? Or came out as in telling you she was gay?
  • I'm not a guy...so this is comming from a female point of view. I would tell her,"You just made my day." Tell her you are having a bad day and she just brightened it up. If you like her, ask her out for coffee or a drink after work. This might help cheer you up while your out you'll get a chance to see if you do like her. Good Luck!
  • It would brighten my day and I would respond "thank you". My follow up, if any, would depend on my current situation.
  • I'll preface my answer with this: I have a big mouth. At the time, IF I was in a committed relationship with someone else, I would say "Thanks very much! You always seem to know what to say to brighten my day!" OR something similar to that. THEN I would continue the strictly-business, co-worker relationship. IF I was an "available" single man, I would definitely say something similar to what I previously wrote and ask the lady if she would like to join me for lunch or an after-work cocktail. If the answer was "No", I would ask her, "When could we have lunch or that cocktail?" Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! VTY, Ron Berue Yes, that is my real last name! • I say, let's get a motel room. You don't have any STDs or HIV, right?
  • I'd file a sexual harassment lawsuit against the company and retire.
