Probably six inches. But it was very thin. The shorter worms I see tend to be thicker.

About a foot, I was 7 a the time, so it might have loked bigger to me.

Here in north Alabama we have a worm that we call a fiddle worm. Not sure of the real name. They get the name fiddle worm because of the way you catch them. But that's another story. A true story. I've seem fiddle worm at least 18" long. Anybody else know about fiddle worms?

I once saw a tapeworm that was about 12 feet long (in inches 144).
