  • Your keyboard may be developing problems, particularly if it's older or receives heavy use. To determine whether the problem is the keyboard or something inside the tower, get another keyboard. (Depending on where you live you should be able to get a basic new one for $5-$10.) Plug it in and use it. If that solves the problem, voila! If not, there's something amiss inside the tower. This could be anything from just having a dirty/loose plug to having a motherboard issue. At that point you sould probably consult a computer repair specialist.
