I would throw ninja man's clothes/bedding onto it
-
h2ohhh no.... suffocate it but don't use water
-
Baking Soda
-
If it's just in the pan, turn the burner off and put the lid on the pan..if it's spilled..break out the baking soda :)
-
throw a damp cloth over it.
-
Throw flour on it.
-
Smother it with a lid--NEVER water.
-
baking soda, if that doesn't work fire fighters
-
Put a lid on it. Any further than that, I pull the pin on the fire extinguisher and call 911
-
Smother it out, or use baking soda on it. But never use water on grease.
-
Either put the lid on it, or a wet towel (after turning off the burner)
-
Probably try water at first and then probably throw some baking soda or the lid of a pan or something on it when I figured out what was going on.
-
Use the fire extinguisher from under the sink!
-
I had a grease fire once. It is very difficult to remember in the throes of a screaming fire alarm, and watching flames shoot six feet up from the frying pan exactly what you are supposed to use. I couldn't remember so I opened the back door, threw a towel around the handle of the frying pan, and pitched that son-of-a-biscuit in the yard!! A lid would have worked just as well.
-
I would grab the extinguisher we have in the laundry room and put it out.
-
salt ?
-
Baking Soda, kitty litter, or a fire extinguisher [all of which are on hand at my house]. NOT water, which will only spread it.
-
Kitchen fire extinguisher for a big one, flour or a lid for a small one.
-
Not with water. I panicked the first time a grease fire happened and put water on it. I ended up outside of my home calling 911. I'd probably call the fire department if it was more then a lid covering could handle.
-
Anything but water.
-
I've got lids to place on it and a fire extinguisher and baking soda, depending on what type of fire it is and what is burning.
-
I have a fire extinguisher in my kitchen that I would use.
