  • Yes it is. At a younger age I did not think much of it, but as I got older I could see the importance of it and I am glad that I worked as hard as I did at it.

  • It's very important, but to a point. It can enrich you, provide you with the needed skills and credentials to compete in the real world, and as such help you get a good job. It also nurtures social skills and gives you the opportunity to meet people from a wide variety of backgrounds. But don't go to school just so that you have "something to do". In other words, don't spend too much time in school to avoid going out in the real world, because that's where you ultimately learn about life. For all its good points, school can also be a hindrance if a person stays in it too long.
