  • The one that works, or ideally, the one that cannot be improved.
  • The one that makes Coca-Cola,
  • The one that comes from the mom, if you can't do that then I would get a doctors opinion.
  • BREAST MILK!!! I hope that's the kind of formula you're talking about!! LOL
  • For disaster? Have an AB members meeting and ask everyone to introduced themselves to each other. AB will never be the same again.
  • Aptamil is great! Aptamil is great for babies who suffer from colic. I often hear my friends say that they had to change formula milk several times before they found the right one for their babies. I never had problems with Maria when it came to gas or colic pains. Furthermore she burped everytime she bottle- or breast-fed and always slept soundly. There is a wide range of Aptamil formula milk. From 0-6 months: Aptamil First & Aptamil Extra for very hungry babies! These both contain Prebiotics, Nucleotides and 2 LCP's which make them close to breast milk. From 6 months to 1 year there is the follow-on milk called Aptamil 2, which is ideal when you start weaning your baby. They have extra iron, vitamins, energy, protein and minerals. They also contain Prebiotic fibres as above. From 1 year onwards there is Aptamil 3 which is richer in iron and also has prebiotic fibres which protect the baby from the inside. There is also a range of special milks for pre-term and low-weight babies. Aptamil comes in tins of 500g and is very easy to use. With every 30ml of warm pre-boiled water add 1 spatula (found in each tin) and shake well. Breastmilk is always the best (as indicated on Aptamil itself) but in my opinion Aptamil is the best formula milk on the market although its a bit expensive.
  • breast milk... it sounds like you're talking about formula for a baby. formula from the store can give the baby really bad gas and other unwanted sideeffects and if you dont want a crying kid...more than they already cry. you cant buy the good formula at a store. unless your child doesnt want to breast feed then you're going to just have to try different kinds and see how your baby takes to them.
  • Not to be rude but ... it's the brand that I know and love. Wouldn't be advertising it just for the sake of it!
  • formula's pretty expensive, I suggest breast feeding to save money if you insist on formula- my mom ran a daycare for 10+ years, and the parents would bring formula- the most common was enfamil
  • The question was ... what is the best FORMULA? Of course she must know that breast milk is best. But that wasn't the question, was it? These breastfeeding Nazis really need to get a grip! There are many women out there who would've loved to breastfeed their child, but they couldn't, because of a traumatic birth, their milk not coming in, baby not latching, etc. I've had so many friends who have felt extreme guilt for not being able to breastfeed their babies - and it's all compounded by people who air their negative opinions like this. Or perhaps they just choose not to. I think it's really wrong to judge people for that. From a breastfeeding mother of boy aged 7 months.
