  • Probably Hitler goes on the top of this particular dung heap. But he'd be piled on top of Pol Pot, Osama Bin Laden, So Damn Insane, Ayatollah Khomeni, and a few others.
  • I think the only person that deserves this award would be Hitler. He killed so many people.
  • George Bush, If he succeeds in fulfilling his wishes.
  • Al Roker.
  • Hitler or Dr. Mengele a.k.a. the "angel of death" Nazi who did all of the medical experiments on the Jews. (thanks ptrask)
  • Karl Marx. Not only is he responsible for far more murders than Hitler, there is strong evidence that he did it because he only pretended to be an atheist and was actually a Satanist who wished to bring the maximum number of victims to Satan and lead the maximum number of people to hell. In fact, Hitler actually did one thing that was good--Germany would have gone Communist if it hadn't become Nazi, and if Germany and Russia had been together instead of fighting, they would have conquered all of Europe and Britain before America could even enter the war.
  • Joseph Stalin. Lets get this guy in the mix. He was responsible for far more deaths than even Hitler. He brutally persecuted many Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses, Baptists and any other group that he disagreed with. Stalin's regime moved to force collectivization of agriculture, which soon proved to be a failure and lead to a huge famine. The death toll from famine in the Soviet Union at this time is estimated at between five and ten million people. However, During this same period the Soviet Union was exporting grain. Over 1.5 million people were deported to Siberia and the Central Asian republics. Separatism, resistance to Soviet rule and collaboration with the invading Germans were cited as the official reasons for the deportations. Deportees were forced to leave their property behind, many died or were executed on their way to deportation destinations. Those who survived were forced to work for free in the labour camps. Many of the deportees died of hunger or other deadly conditions. It appears that a minimum of around 10 million surplus deaths (4 million by repression and 6 million from famine) are attributable to the regime, with a number of recent books suggesting a probable figure of somewhere between 15 to 20 million. Adding 6 to 8 million famine victims to estimates above, for example, would yield a figure of between 15 and 17 million victims. To put it simply, Stalin killed so many of his own people, they lost track of the count.
  • Hitler and Stalin most definately. I think Mussolini can be chucked in there too. They need to form a club (with t-shirts)
  • It depends on the context of what one might consider that to be evil, that which is absent of the light of God. Aliester Crowley, "The Father of Anarchy"; Self declared disciple of Lucifer, and some refer him as being an anti-christ or the person who was to usher him in. Influenced the entire generation of the 20th century by means of drug influence, media and the most powerful and impressionable form of expression on our youth...music. There is no calculator available to us that fathoms the depth and loss of life related to Aleister Crowly. Crowly's message is still distributed world wide through music by such bands as Ozzy Osbourne, N-sync, 311, Metallica, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones,...shocked yet?...wait there's more...Britney Spears, Marilyn Manson, Eazy E, Tupak Shakur, Biggie Smalls, P Diddy, Maddonna, and the list goes on and on as to those who sing praise to Aliester Crowly's sinister movement to manipulate the mentality of youth into corruption on a world wide scale. All the above artists influence their fans minds with Crowly's Creed of "Do as thou wilst". Meaning to corrupt the mind and body and rebel against all authority unto anarchy. They influence our youth to rebel and disrespect their parents, to obtain and use alcohol, tobacco and drugs, and even go as so far and explore their sexual desires without concern for their own wellbeing or the wellbeing of others. Most all suicides, murder, etc. etc. can in oneway or another be attributed to Mr. Crowley's influence. On the outside the influence of music may seem harmless fun, and the music industry has stated many times that music does not influence people to do harm to themselves or others. But, if you look at the history of music the history book reads a totally differant story that contradicts the claims of the music industry. It is a FACT that music has a profound effect and influence on our lives and the way we think, be it concious or sub-concious. For Example; The FACT of the matter is that the Back Street Boys, N-Sync and Britney Spears fans averaged the age of 7-12 years old. It is not uncommon for these minor children to throw their underwear up on stage to these boy bands, as they all make the impression that sex is okay if your under the age of 18. I guess Britney Spears, who also advocated sex among minors,...is not that innocent at all. Parents refuse to see the light as they fail in their parental duties and let their children observe such art in question, and they wonder why their children rebel, and why the suicide and divorce rates are so high. Watch the way they dance, read the lyrics that they sing, monitor the sexual images on their videos,... is that the impression you want a mentor to make on a 7-12 year old minor? Pay your homage to Mr. Aliester Crowly...the true mentor of evil. --- Fisher, if you fail to see, it is because you only choose not to, there may be a mindset barrier in which inhibits you from seeing somthing from another point of perception. There is research available on google video, "They sold their souls for rock and roll" is one documentary that traces the influential philosophy's of A. Crowley. The perception and toneality of what one might consider evil, depends on the context of an individuals soul and the negative impact it has had upon a humanity as a whole, though Hitler has made a great impact, he was nothing more than a front man for the real evil men he represented. It is easy to see nazi and white supremist propaganda and cut it off before it gets out of control, anarchy on the other hand matures a lot more slowly and contains subversive propaganda that many of us believe to have no meaning or bearing on our lives, once we accept that, we leave ourselves open to it's influence without Q becuase we have already established in our minds a reasoning or justification for it.
  • Whoever first decided that there was a god who was angry with us, and then decided to convince others of this.
  • Okay maybe not a "REAL" person but I got to give my vote for Father Time. Edit -> Geez, you know whats the point. Countless "not helpfuls". Time is always against us. It is unescapeable. It was suppose to give smiles and something to think about.
  • Hitler
  • as far as I know, Hitler was.
  • My chemistry teacher
  • Joseph Stalin...killed many more than Hitler.
  • We should add Ken Lay, who killed by corporation, ruining the futures of thousands of hardworking people who sacrificed themselves on the altar of his greed.
  • Cain, he murdered his brother, original slayer.
  • Hitler
  • Count Dracul
  • I'm not sure who the sole person behind it was, but the Rape of Nanking was a pretty horrible genocide. Not as many people as Hitler (300,000), but the way they died was horrific. MOST of the number was women and they were raped to death. Wikipedia it.
  • You can't equate the musings of Marx with totalitarian regimes like Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot who misused and misunderstood Marx. Don't forget evil can also wear a business suit & decide that it's cheaper to payout wrongful deaths than recall a faulty car; or use a food additive they know kills brain cells but makes people eat more of their snack foods; or making cows live in their own sh*t, pump them with antibiotics & feed them corn they can't digest without a plastic pipe put down their throat to let gas out - just so you have cheap burgers; or people who send your jobs overseas, then throw gobs of money at politicians so that they start a war using recruits from the poor whose jobs were exported so that profits can be made from defence contracts that help finance their kids thru college so their kids get better jobs & not be sent off to a war to protect the property & business interests of the rich. Evil is not always ugly and drags its knuckles on the ground. They may smile a smile and still be a villan.
  • Nobody's inherently evil, it's just the circumstances they find themselves in. That being said, I don't like Josef Stalin much. Because of him and his stupid ideas (i.e. Stalinism), we may be forced to live in a world of eternal corrupting capitalism until the planet explodes because everybody is so adverse to the idea of acheiving Communism. Never mind the fact he didn't want to achieve Communism at all, and was actually more right-wing than left, being a fascist dictator and all (fascism is part of the extreme right).
  • On my "may they rest in hell!" list are... Curtis LeMay - he would rather have had a nuclear war just to prove a point. Those people in the Allied governments who prosecuted so few of the Nazis and enede their sentences earlier. Those American government officals who took Nazi scientist to America, hid their war crimes and paid them to carry on their research. Those in the Allied governments who prosecuted so very few of the Japanese who butchered their way through Asia. Those members of the CIA who thought they had the right to circumvent democratic elections of friendly nation just because they were a little "pink" - see Australia's Whitlam government. J Edgar Hoover, who fought communism but was unable to define what it was. This man ruined the lives of so many people and exercised his power in contradiction to the spirit of the US. Senator Joseph McCarthy. The man who single-handedly did the most to ruin the American rep in the world. Every time someone waves a flag and talks about how great the US democarcy the world goes "Yeah right! - We remember McCarthy" What difference was their between those trials and the show trials of the Soviets or the denunciation trials of the Chinese, Vietnamese or Khemer Rouge? The directors of companies that play fast and loose with other people's money, detroy their retirement savings and then they themselves get to leave prison and retire to their palatial homes that are in their wifes name. The proceeds of crime are the proceeds of crime, whether its drugs or bad management. People who can approve billions of dollars on war spending but can't send a bus to rescue people in New Orleans or put a roof over their heads. Fundamentalists (Christian or Muslim) who are so convinced of their rightness that they miss the spirit of their religion. and the list goes on....
  • I think in my lifetime, Pol-Pot and the killing fields of Cambodia. The sad thing is not only where so many people killed, but that the rest of the world really did nothing about it. Also, these people where poor, innocent and defeted.
  • Who ever said Crowley is, needs to get an education, and stop being brainwashed by religion. Crowley was a bad human being yes, he did some disgusting things, but I can think of some much more evil people than him. He was only the way he was because of his twisted evil religious fundamentalist mother who he rebelled from (ironic). It was Crowley’s ideas and philosophies that released society from the shackles of religious conservative fascism after the 60s, that you who complain about him now enjoy the freedoms of (hypocrites). Bad he was, Evil maybe yes, but he was a genius, and did do some good, its just a shame on how he acted as a human being. And he had nothing to do with Satan or Lucifer, that’s a Christian idea he was not a Christian or Satanist as he did not believe in Satan. Id say people like Hitler, Osama Bin Laden and George W Bush are more evil that Crowley, since they have killed thousands of innocent people....
  • charles manson and hitler
  • I agree with Hitler, Stalin, and most of the other answers already given. Therefore, I will give an original answer. Pope Gregory IX, Pope Lucius III - these men were the fathers of the doctrine and organizational structure that led to the Inquisition and Witch Hysteria, which violently (via horrific torture) suppressed heresy throughout the Catholic world.
  • This is blatant but to any piece of SH*T who causes harm to a child !!!
  • hitler
  • Dr.Laura, she hates everyone except herself.
  • HITLER, STALIN, POL_POT, IDI AMIN, Impossible to list all the truly evil people before the fall of communism many of the Leaders were so evil that they killed more of their own people than died in the war. SADDAM HUSSEIN was not too kind either
  • Pope Alexander the sixth. Supposedly the Prince of goodness and leader of the christian church from 1492 through 1503. See link below. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Alexander_VI Unlike "evil dictators" like Hitler and Stalin, this fellow's role was to be one of the godly, wonderful people to guide civilization in a wise and christian manner. His actual behavior though, makes him despicable IMHO...he was a thoroughly vile and disgusting man.
  • I think everyone else has covered the most well-known evil-doers. A couple of others that come to mind are Slobodan Milošević and Timothy McVeigh. Nathan Bedford Forrest and William Joseph Simmons most definitely belong on the list too.
  • Caligula - Cais Caesar Ghengis Khan - Mongul Conqueror
  • my art teacher
  • Stalin was much worse than Hitler. Stalin killed everyone - Hitler killed certain groups. So, being a German christian would basically make you safe as long as you didn't go around bad mouthing the Nazis. In the USSR though you never knew when Stalin would wipe out a group like teacher on a whim. Stalin was erratic - hitler hated certain groups
  • The Devil
  • I got several people. Hitler. Bin laden. George W. Bush (In my opinion) My Math teacher. My Science teacher. My Social Studies Teacher. My Spanish Teacher. And The Answerbag troll.
  • Ivan the terrible
  • Antone LaVey? he never killed people im sure, and when he talks somewhat seems like a fairly reasonable person but he founded the satanic church so if you put it in terms of "evil" i guess id say him but there are far more many inhumane people than him.
  • ok Hitler,Stalin,Mussolini all come to mind in current times, but about farther in the past.People like Genghis Khan, whos army conquered the world. Or Vlad the Impaler the Real Count Dracula who made a living in spreading terror an fear. Or even a little closer to our time...How about Aleister Crowley whos claimed to practice dark arts and personaly influentel to stars such as Ozzy, The beatles, jus to name a couple.
  • Well I would have to say Hitler.... But Bush is getting close haha
  • hitler, stalin , bin laden etc
  • I don't know that that is a question that can truly be answered. However, common answers would be Adolf Hitler and Mussolini.
  • just like everybody else, i'm going to say Hitler. but you have to wonder if they were always evil, or if it was lies and deceit that turned them away from the right path.
  • 1) Hitler 2) The guy who invented the wrapping on CDs and DVDs.
  • Adolf Hitler.
  • The male child molesters. Sick Bastards!!!!!
  • Stalin, Pol Pot, Chairman Mao, Mohammed, Ghengis Khan.......my history fails me. But these men all account for millions of deaths each. You choose the worst. However, one man's villain is another's hero. Just a caveat.
  • There are a few. My award would go to Genghis Khan. He killed more people than Hitler, percentage wise, and his methods were as ruthless, if not more so. He would send his army to a city, take it, slaughter the inhabitants (except for the artisans. they were the only people he had use for)excapt for a few, which he would send back into the city to say that the Mongol army had gone. when people came out of hiding, they would be slaughtered too. Genghis' armies conquered lands from China to the borders of Europe, and down into India too. They might have taken Europe too, but the Mongol leader involved drank off wine and died. This was taken as an omen, and the army retreated. The Mongol invasions changed the face of eurasia, literally. Whole nations ceased to exist or were pushed out of their lands. It is frightening to think that most of Turkey was once Greek speaking, before the Turks, allies of the Mongols swept into the area. If you look at the present home of many of the descendants of the Mongols compared with where they originate, you can see what an enormous people movement was initiated by Genghis. Recent DNA evidence points to 16 million descendants of Genghis alone, 8% of Asian males and 0.5% of the world's males. If you multiply that by the other males in Genghis' army, the rape that must have gone on must have been horrific. Adolf Hitler did not father even one child, and the number of children born as a result of liasons(illicit or forced) in WW2 would be negligible compared to this.
  • Hitler wasn't the most evil man. I mean, hey!, I hate what he's done but not because of what he's popular for. Nobody can wear that half a mustache under their nose without being called hitler. That really sucks! The most evil man may still be living. Just nobody knows about him except for all the children he's been tormenting. Is evil a numbers thing? or Is evil an emotional thing?
  • Female child molesters. Sick Bitches!!!!!!
  • Yo mama!
  • hitler's wife ...eva von braun or something?
  • Elizabeth Bathory
  • There is some Dark Ages European minor royalty who used to kill virgins to bathe in their blood to maintain their youth. Can't remember the name, but this is reliable history, and a pretty evil person. ADDITION: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_B%C3%A1thory Countess Erzebet Báthory (Báthory Erzsébet in Hungarian, Alžbeta Bátoriová (-Nádašdy in Slovak), Elżbieta Batory in Polish, August 7?, 1560 – August 21, 1614), the Bloody Lady of ÄŒachtice, was a Hungarian countess who lived in the ÄŒachtice Castle near Trenčín, in present-day Slovakia, relative of king of Poland and prince of Transylvania, Stefan Batory. She is considered the most infamous serial killer in Slovak and Hungarian history. She spent most of her life at the ÄŒachtice Castle. After her husband's death, she and her four alleged collaborators were accused of torturing and killing dozens of girls and young women. In 1611, she was imprisoned in ÄŒachtice Castle, where she remained until her death three years later. Her nobility allowed her to avoid trial and execution. However, three of her four alleged collaborators were put to death. The Báthory case has inspired many stories, featuring the Countess bathing in her victims' blood in order to retain her youth. This inspired nicknames like the Blood Countess.
  • Judge Judy.
  • evil is a perspective. so is good. the only ones who are truely evil are the ones who view themselves as evil and purposefully do "evil" things because they know it's evil. so in a sense all man is evil, some are just more evil than others, infact I am rather evil in certain ways.
  • There have been so many evil men and women who have passed through this world leaving an awful legacy. But they were, for the most part, very ignorant people. What I find really evil today, what with all the advantages, advancements, technology, education, and personal and human awareness, is the evil we do to one and other in the name of God and Love. Time to ‘Give Peace A Chance’ (by the Beatles)
  • Chopper, the men from the snowtown murders and that london prostitute killerr - did they ever catch him by the way? sorry if you dont know the snowtown, it was a horrible event look it up on the net - really terrible
  • you cannot possibly say that there is a most evil person. when you look at ppl like hitler, sadam and bin laden i dont think anyone can actually make a right judgement and say that only one of them has the right to be called evil. xxx
  • Michael Jackson... **shiver** he tries to get with little kids!!!
  • Fred West.
  • Joseph Stalin.
  • Satan muhahahahaha - He lives!
  • Saddam and bin laden.
  • I do not believe that evil is subjective as some have implied. I think you can call some people evil for what they've done. Some have done more than others but therr is a long, long line of evil in this world. It starts with Adam and goes right down to ones who are here with us today. Their have been great leaders who have been responsible for millions of deaths. People like Hitler and Pol Pot. Then their are people who are evil inside like serial killers who prey on the lowliest people in our society. People who are vulnerable like hookers and children. Their are evil men who rape and molest those closest to them. People who they should be protecting but instead betray them and leave them broken and scared forever. I can't say who has done the most evil or what kind of evil is worse. Every one is capable of evil but what makes them cross over into committing evil I can't say. I can't pick one evil over another nor one person's evil acts over another. But if I have to say one person then I say Adam. Because from his act of evil all evil entered into the world and it began in his very own family with the slaying of his son Able by his other son Cain.
  • Richard Nixon
  • Mark Burnett. Welcome to reality TV hell.
  • Hitler
  • pilate and nero and herod and last and worrst: Adolf Hitler A.k.a Guy that deserves to go to hell 20 times in a row and live there for all eternity!!!
  • I would have to say Hitler.
  • Ted Bundy, Jack the Ripper, Son of Sam, Charles Manson and family, Diane Downs. Add any person who committed a senseless murder or murders. Shame on all of them. I know there are more. . .
  • hitler
  • George W. Bush JR.
  • Here a "bottom" ten list I found: 1. Tomas de Torquemada (Grand Inquisitor) 2. Vlad Tepes 3. Adolph Hitler 4. Ivan the Terrible 5. Adolph Eichmann 6. Pol Pot 7. Mao Tse-tung 8. Idi Amin 9. Joseph Stalin 10. Genghis Khan Source: http://sprott.physics.wisc.edu/pickover/good.html Here is another list, which was proposed for a poll: Interesting is following quote in the first posting: "None of the people on this list thought they were evil, actually most thought they were the ultimate good." Source: http://www.commongroundcommonsense.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=20943 I do not agree with all the choices, but I had a look at the discussions and found them interesting. The number of people's death which they caused (most of them indirectly) was a criterium; but it is subject to controversy. Some other people could also be considered, for instance among serial killers, mass murdere, those who justified evil with religion, or those who destroy the planet or our health. However, I must say that I have much more interest for the good people. (by the first reference there is a top list, too)
  • To me anyone who has killed people in the name of philosophy, genicide, religion, race, color, sex, politics etc... There are too many names to list here...
  • It's imposible to know without knowing why the "evil" ones did what they did that makes us think of them as evil. I think the evil ones are the ones that knew it was wronge to do those things but did them anyway.
  • I took history so the first person that comes into my head is hitler. He took the lives of so many.
  • It all depends on how you look at it, you know. One persons villan is anothers hero, and vice versa. To me, persoaly though? There is no real answer - I beleive that many people (rapists excluded) have good reasons - in their minds at least, mind you! - for what they did. That's not at all to say that I agree with Hitler, but one of my negiborhs does - who is to say which one of us is right?
  • evil is merely an interpretation and representation given to these people by the victors, stalin was loved by some of his own people, as was hitler, if they had won would they be considered evil? no. in short we simply view them as evil because of how public history represents them, they even had a purpose for their countries, advancement, although they seem to have felt killing was vital, something i dont agree with, so ill say hitler
  • Hitler and George Bush
  • I don't believe it is possible for a person to be evil.
  • By shear numbers of death at their hands my top three list is: Chairman Mao Joseph Stalin Adolph Hitler
  • I am nervous of the term evil. To take one example from the lists above Vlad Teppes was regarded (and still is I believe) as a hero in his native Wallachia (modern day Hungary?). One man's fish is another man's poisson as they say. But people such as Hitler, Stalin etc were pretty poor humanitarians. I am sure though there have been more evil people but they have been either restrained or never managed to achieve the power that Hitler did. Imagine Ted Bundy running the USA for example...
  • Adolf Hitler Harold shipman Joseph Stalin
  • George Bush is definitely the worst. He even thinks he is almost as strong as God. All he is good AT IS STEELING OIL FROM Iraq AND SAYING OSAMA BIN-LADIN IS A TERRORIST, AND HASN'T REALIZED HE IS THE ONLY TERRORIST.
  • Take your pick of the first 200 Popes.
  • strangely enough I looked up "evil" and the first 2 words were "morally wrong". So, since there's tons of stuff that was morally wrong 50 years ago (Rock n Roll anyone?) but now it is accepted and viceversa then I am not sure what to say any more. Did Vladimir the Impaler enjoy impaling all those soldiers in order to scare the advancing army off? Would the first American president call all of us "morally wrong" and so "evil people" for allowing gay marriage?
  • Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Elizabeth Bathory, are all very evil, but there is one very insidious one who not many people have heard of Albert Fish (The Butcher of Hanover)was really nasty. Look up that sick SOB.
  • Stalin was ruthless.
  • Either...Jeff domers or ed giel...ed giel is the root to the movies, texas chainsaw massacre, psycho, and buffalo bill from silence of the lambs...ed giel most likely
  • Hitler.
  • Dropping A-Bombs on two Japanese cities with no awareness of their full lethal power, the innocent civilians there, the first massive killing of innocent non-combatants with two bombs in the world's hisotry the after-efects which still exist, cancers and other disorders can be ranked with any evil that the above-named monsters did. One can be "evil" without beign pathologically un-hinged. Americans can be so naive about the presumed innocence of this nation and its Government, and act so self-righteously udner cover of "patriotism' but take a look at the world today and the savagery we have begun or aided by standing by quietly for the past 50 years or so and ask why should we dig back to Genghis Khan or Saddam Hussein or Stalin or Hitler to see EVIL at work among us and our leaders. We even had the suggestion to nuke- bomb Pakistan by a major political candidate and another one foresees another 100 Years War and military presence in Iraq! yet, we almost tried to get rid of a POTUS who had some oral sex in the Oval Office! Come off it self-absorbed America.
  • ME! >:(
  • Jack the Ripper, possibly the largest serial killer of all time.
  • A picture is worth 1000 words...
  • That would have to be Lucifer. (You never said he had to be human!)
  • Elizabeth Bathory who killed innocent teenagers for beauty sake.
