Well, the origin of that custom is based on superstitious beliefs. True Christians would not use that term when someone sneezes, or expect you to say it to them. Do not feel obligated to say anything at all, so as not to be taken "captive by means of the philosophy and empty deception according to human tradition, according to the elementary things of the world and not according to Christ" (Colossians 2:8)
