  • Of course! Nothing a good washing can't cure.
  • Weird.. no. I buy vintage clothing all the time.
  • totally ^_^ msot my clothes are trift shops and stuff like that ^_^
  • I buy all my clothes second hand.
  • Not at all. I have far more shirts than I need because I cannot resist the excellent shirts at my local second-hand shop.
  • no i dont think its weird
  • I call it recycling!
  • I don't think its weird exactly, as i used to wear clothes from my big sis - 'hang me downs', but maybe its 'cos she's family and i know where they came from. I don't have a problem with people buying from second-hand stores or charity shops, but personally, the reason why i don't, is 'cos i don't know where they came from. I don't know who's worn them before, dead or alive. Yeah they could once have belong to a celebrity for all i know, but its the case of not knowing.
  • No - I know someone who is a shopaholic and she is always turning up with bags of clothes because her closet is, yet again, full to overflowing. You don't here me saying "No"! I love to nose around in secondhand shops - It's fun.
  • Of course not! What's wrong with second hand clothes, especially if it's only gently worn and looks brand new? People who turn down clothes/things just because they're second hand (particularly when they are in mint condition) are illogical and waste money. But I don't mind them, because that means I can get the second-hand stuff they turned down for much cheaper, just because of their pickiness. I love second hand shops. It's neat finding all this cheap stuff, and anyway, I'm poor so it's like I'm in heaven.
  • I buy most of my clothes second hand. I always wash before I wear just to be sure but otherwise, you can find some really nice things in vintage stores. I found a cute polka dotted dress at the vintage store today but it was too expensive for me on my budget right now.
  • i get lots of nice shirts from the dumpster. XXL shirts are a great find. no one asks where i get my shirts. it certainly isnt weird, it is recycling.
  • well i really dont care if there used they just need to be in good condition. this one girl i went to school with acted rich by just wearing ambercrombie hollister ect. no one ever found out that she got it from platos closet. i think its a good idea. ur getting things for a good price and they are name brands and u can sell ur clothes to the just go to ther website type in plato's closet on google good luck
  • There's nothing weird about. First, do you realize that many of us grew up wearing other people's clothes because our parents couldn't afford anything else? Also, in these times, that maybe the only recourse for a lot of folks
  • If I didn't work at a clothing store that gives such a good discount I would probably shop there myself. There is nothing wrong with second hand clothes, especially for kids who are growing.
  • I find nothing wrong with it, and I do shop at resale shops from time to time.
  • I don't find it weird at all, in fact I shop at consignment shops from time to time and get some great clothes at very reasonable prices. It's green!! Re-using is always better when possible!
