Have dialup, conexant HDA D330 MDC v.92 modem, and call waiting. ISP said "modem on hold" should just work, but when someone calls when I'm online, it just rings and rings. Is there a setting somewhere I need to change for it to show an incoming call?

You need something like Callwave or similar. There is no setting that can do that; you need special software.

As jerv mentioned, you need software installed on your computer to have this feature. You also need to have caller ID service on your phone line.
