I knew two women that were married to a guy that was 30+ years older and they all got along just great all the way up to when the guy died, both of them. You have to keep that in mind. One girl was only 28 when her husband died. She quit her job and joined the army. She did get married again, an officer and lives in Florida now.

Could it work? Yes of course. Love is blind, deaf, and a bit mad as well, so anything's possible. Be prepared for the disapproving attitudes of others though, and know that if you're together long enough and have average life expectancies, he will be gone about 40 years before you are and any children that come along won't be into their 20s before they lose a parent. That can be hard. But I'd say give it a go if you're both happy.

Love is love. Age is nothing more than a number. If you are both mature enough to realize your relationship will take alot of hard work and are both willing to put the effort into it then I don't see why it couldn't work. My late fiancee was near 15 years yoiunger than me and we both loved each other more than any 2 people could love one another. She made my life complete and I never had any doubts in my heart that she loved me. I can't believe I almost lost out on that love because I was a stubborn jackass at the beginning who had a problem with a 15 year age gap. Just think of what I would have missed out on

I BELIEVE AGE IS NOTHING BUT A NUMBER ME AND MY GUY HAVE BEEN TOGETHER ALMOST A YEAR AND THINGS ARE GREAT, IM 24 AND HE'S 38, NOT A 30 YR DIFFERENCE BUT AN AGE DIFFERENCE CAN BE A PROBLEM AT TIMES BUT IF YOU HAVE LOVE IT MAKES EVERYTHING EASIER, PLUS IM IN AN INTERRACIAL RELATIONSHIP AND WE HAVE A 2X WHAMMY! LOL BUT WE ARE STILL STANDING STRONG.
