  • Ignore her. (Try some tough love yo...)
  • You should try to be supportive to her. Let her know she can trust you. It's a treatable disorder that she really should seek treatment for. Try to encourage her to do so, and if you believe that she is in danger, contact someone who can help, such as a parent.
  • its a sad situation to be in you should take her to a morgue and let her see her end results if she doesnt stop she could cut a major vein or artery.
  • offer her some hydrogen peroxide and band-aids and she will get the point hopefully
  • Ask her why she cuts; direct her to help.
  • Cutting is typically a way for someone to externalize the pain that they're feeling emotionally or psychologically. Cutters typically report that they cut to 'control' the pain that they feel and that the sensation of physical pain outside is preferable to and mitigates what they 'feel' inside. The psychological pain is often associated with guilt or shame. Cutters are often victims of abuse, either verbal, physical or even sexual. The best you can do as a friend is be there to be a confidant, but if she confides in you any allegations of abuse you need to encourage her to seek professional help. Part of your responsibility may be to support her through the process of seeking help, in whatever way she needs. I wish you luck with a very difficult situation.
  • talk to her first an let her know that you are there for her. next talk to a guidance counsellor.
