I suppose when I was a child, I did. When I left home to begin my own life, I no longer needed anyone's approval.

I used to. But then I realized that didn't make me happy so I stopped. Turns out they still love me anyway... Go figure.

Yes I do most of the time, I never really had a dad so I always went to my mother or grandmother for advice. To this very day I still ask them for advise if they have it to give, depending on what it is I'm asking them.

Yes...up until the age of 50 I was still trying to get my mom's approval. My Dad always approved of me..unconditionally. My mom's approval always came with strings attached. At age 50 I gave up, stopped trying and thereby got rid of a lot of stress. :)
