I dont know if this is any help but I have a huge dead grasshopper in the back window of my car that has been there for about a year. And it is TOTALLY dried out. So maybe you should try that with your scorpion. Or just set it outside in a box or something.

You could set it on epoxy resin that would create a artificial fossil.

My Bf's pet scorpion died and he didnt want to part with it so he just left it where it was.. eventially it was hard and crispy....lol Im sure you will find a better way but if not.... just wait lol

Animals with exoskeletons, including scorpions, retain their appearances after death. Just let it dry out for a few days & keep other bugs away during this time. Putting it in the sun will speed the process, but it might cause the colors to fade. When you mount it in the box, add a mothball to keep out small bugs.
