  • I've only seen a lightining strike really well once, but it seemed to be sorta purple and white. But as superpanda said, I think it does really depend on the background
  • The color of lightning has to do with what chemicals are in the air. Spectacularly colored lightning can actually be seen in cities with lots of polution due to the ionization of the chemicals in the air.
