Acoustic guitar. Seems strange for me to say it since I'm all about electric when I play, but I could listen to fingerstyle guitar all day.

If you chose the trumpet I wonder when you would get any sleep ever, or if you would be able to do anything relaxing, period. Trumpet is an instrument (which I adore) that you are either listening to, or extremely annoyed by; there's no easy listening with trumpet. Trombone should probably be included in this. As for myself, probably the double bass - it maintains a sweet beat while being an essential part of the background. Also its a convenient bed to base improv on - I'd be improvising all day to those nice,groovy moving bass lines

definitely the piano- there r so many voices u can coax out of it that it's impossible to get tired of it
