I stay quiet the majority of the time. I know I shouldn't, but I can't help it.
-
depends on what the topic is. at home i mention nothing about religion - rather not get kicked out but i'll talk about the school system, the state policies, health care, etc etc. drama - i avoid at all costs, so if it's gossip, no matter what i hear, i do my best to take it to the grave with me
-
I'll always tell the truth because it's better in the long run.
-
i try to keep a healthy balance of the two. for the most part im a pretty peaceful person, but there are times when i just cant sit back and say nothing.
-
Depends on the subject, I do both.
-
I speak my mind to bring about peace. I can't leave a situation alone and feel peaceful about/content it.
-
Sometimes stay quiet to maintain peace :) !
-
I stay quiet to keep the peace.
-
it depends on the subject, but i have a tendency to keep quiet
-
I kind of do both really to be honest I speak y mind but only if I am standing up for somebody but I keep quiet so not start an arguement! :)
-
Generally I speak my mind. Unless I don't feel that it is necessary to say anything. In which case I do that and just say nothing.
-
It depends on the importance and sensitivity of the subject. I generally speak my mind but sometimes, it's more appropriate to keep quiet.
-
Stay quiet to keep the peace. I dislike any form of conflict and it makes me uncomfortable. It means I get on with the majority of people though. I know some people who speak their mind a bit too much and have not really gotten very far in life in terms of relationships and being happy. I suppose there has to be a helathy balance.
-
Though I prefer to stay quiet to keep peace, I cannot hold expressing my opinion for long. That is my nature.
-
I seldom restrain my tendency to speak my mind unless I know I'm going to greatly upset someone by what I say. Like most things in life, this is a balancing act.
-
I have a big mouth. And add a few beers- I really feel like being honest!
-
I speak my mind when I feel it's necessary. I do not blurt out things that don't need to be said.
-
I speak my mind and keep the peace :)
-
I speak my mind and it gets me in trouble alot.
-
Depends on my energy level
-
I'm a litigator. What do you think? Drives my g/f nuts.
-
I am really not that good at keeping quiet..I try but I usually end up speaking my mind eventually :)
-
If its worthy of my input I speak my mind. I don't make pointless arguments with dogmatic personalities. It really depends on my mood. Sometimes I like to listen to people, sometimes I like to speak my mind, especially when it comes to politics.
-
I do a bit of both, I speak only when I've been offended and need to spout off about rude people.
-
Whichever has the best chance of actually resolving the issue or making peace of the situation. Sometimes someone just wants to vent and I have a hard time realizing that it is better to let them vent than trying to impose reason on their irrationality!
-
I speak my mind w/ my s/o but when I do we get into arguments and sometimes I don't know what to do. I just can't stay quiet I like to speak my mind and he does too. One thing I do know is we have strong feelings for one another..Can I pls get some feed back??
-
Stay quite and keep peace to the world around me. If you tend to talk all that comes to your mind, all the time then you will have many problems.
-
I speak my mind out loud at home with family and friends but when I'm at work or public with strangers I keep the peace believe me theres tons of things and snaps I could say to all the ppl I encounter everyday but if I said it I'd get my ass kicked lol.
-
it depends on the circumstance. Sometimes its strategic to keep your mouth shut. SOmetimes you have to put your foot down. It's all about picking your battles.
-
When m angry i keep peace......So that i have more energy to burst up with anger and speak my mind.
-
Keeping quite makes things better, always. Especially when it is an argument or a fight. I definitely would speak my mind but later. When it is appropriate, or when I feel it is. *smiles*
-
I always speak my mind. It is better to be honest and truthful than to be a hypocrite and say the opposite behind a person's back.
-
depends on who i am around with. if im around people i dont know im pretty quiet
-
Depends on the "issue". I've learned to "pick my battles".
-
Hmm! I intercede if someone doesn't know what he/she is blabbing about!
