They dont always go for skinny girls, that is just a made up myth. Considering most Americans are obese, that alone would show you that fact. Guys, like to have a woman with meat on her bones, they dont want to sleep with a skeleton.

Although looks are at best a secondary consideration for me, I sure don't go for the skinny girls as far as appearance goes. In that regard, I fantasize about massively voluptuous, powerfully built women. ;)

Every guy is different & thus have different tastes in women. The reason people think that it's always the skinny girl that gets the guy's attention is because that's what popular culture shoves in our faces. Most guys I've talked to look more for proportionate women than ones that are particularly skinny.

If I was a guy I would only date a girl who was a healthy weight for her height. Not anorexic, not fat. It's called standards. There's nothing wrong with having them.

I don't think that guys always go for the skinny girls, I think that for the most part, guys want girls they know are fit and are willing to take care of themselves. I'm fit (not skinny by any means, but I love my curves) and still happily single!!

We don't. That's a fable pushed by the fashion industry. I like a woman to have some substance, softness, a bit of a jiggle when she walks or moves. If I wake up in the night, I don't want to search the bed to find her. I never met a man who preferred scrawny women.

Not all guys do, but I do. Not "skinny" in the traditional sense, I don't mind a bit of weight, but I work hard to keep myself in shape. Theres no reason I shouldn't expect those I date to do the same. EDIT:Wow, I'm guessing there are just a few women here who don't keep in shape that like to troll me?

I like a bit of meat on there, it gives her some curves and that can be very attractive. To a point anyway, Too much meat and it becomes gristle but there again, I should talk, lol.

There's pros and cons to every body type, the pros to being with a petite girl are they are fun to toss around in the bedroom. I don't like anorexic or unhealthy looking however, but some girls are just naturally small. I prefer voluptuous myself.

I think the answer is inversely proportional to “why is it - that - to have any kind of friend that’s a girl you have to express some concept of “potential” commitment? I mean is it really possible to have friends of the opposite sex other than your significant other? Did mom or pop go out with the neighbors other “opposite sex“ and see a movie or something? That's a very good question. Guys like to be able to feel protective of their girl. You notice how really tall,skinny girls never get dates?It's because they are bigger then most guys,so the guys don't have that protective feeling.The chubby girls don't get dates because they don't look like they need someone to look after them or keep them safe.The skinny girls are usually the ones that get emotionally hurt the easiest and they look like the ones that have a cute,feminine attitude,because of that,guys want to keep her safe and look after her and all that.
