To get to the other side! Wait...That doesn't work here, never mind.
-
i really dont know....i noticed that also

Why does anyone build a casino? To gamble in I guess..... No I give up; why DO Indians build casinos?
-
When white man came here they took from them what they loved most..their lands. Things have come full circle, as they usually do, and now Native Americans are taking from white men (mostly) what they love most..money. Only they are doing it without force.
-
It's the one thing they've been able to do that actually catapults them out of poverty.
-
Because unlike the Chinese they love Tibet.
-
So we could, take back from the white man, LOL.
-
I think they get a tax break. It's a way for the government to pay them back in some small way for all that was taken from them in the past. Correct me if I'm wrong about the tax break.
-
It's the only viable way for them to make any money form the wretched land they have been forced to accept as their 'reservation' so they take all the money they can from white men. It's their way to fight the terrorism that started in 1492!
-
Native Americans build casinos because it is legal to do so on a reservation if your state does not allow gambling. And plus, you become a millionaire, garanteed.
-
Because they are allowed to. Why I have no idea.
-
Because "the house always wins"! Sorry about the points, QuinnFan. AB says I've given you too many :(
-
Indians have special rights because of treaties they signed. Gambling is legal on Indian reservations.
-
Because they saw that if only they had had them back in 1492, they would now own Spain and the rest of Europe.
-
There is a loophole in states that don't allow gambling but Indians can build casinos on their own land. This has caused the big casino owners in Nevada and Atlantic City to contact tribes all over the country and offer to give them the money to build casinos in partnership with them. The "Indians" in most of the casinos are just a front for the real owners. This is not all Indian casinos, but most.
-
Because they can.
-
It's the American Indian version of "Montezuma's revenge."
