• Humanism is a pretty broad term, but it generally means the promotion of human dignity, and focuses on the value of human beings. Humanists are committed to seeking truth by employing reason, rather than relying on faith based solutions or explanations. Humanism embraces self determination and personal accountability. Humanism originated in ancient Greece and Rome, and flowered in the Renaissance where it evolved to include a love of learning. Modern humanism, also called Natural Humanism, generally rejects anything supernatural. Hope this helps!
