  • Try this tool called Final Uninstaller available at http://www.finaluninstaller.com/download.php It can easily uninstall Yahoo Toolbar with just a few clicks.
  • Tell all your friends, DON'T INSTALL TOOLBARS. They take over your machine, eat up resources, and god knows what else. I learned my lesson the first time I tried one about 8 years ago. Toolbars just aren't necessary. 1. For tough uninstalls, I like RegSupreme from Macecraft. It's also the best registry cleaner I know of. Any of the three on this page are excellent: http://www.macecraft.com/downloads/ Free to try for 30 days. (Disclaimer: I don't work for Macecraft or get any $$ from them.) 2. Also download Autoruns, a free utility from Microsoft. Autoruns lists EVERYTHING that loads on system start. You'll be amazed at the garbage left over from old software that you thought you had uninstalled years ago, like pieces of old AV's. WARNING: Disable before you delete. Disable an autorun by unchecking the box at left to prevent it from loading during startup. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx Or download the entire Sysinternals Suite (all free), 9MB of utilities in a zipfile: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/0e18b180-9b7a-4c49-8120-c47c5a693683.aspx
