  • Hmmm. My "library" is very important to me. Unfortunately, I have chosen a part of my bookcase that isn't very impressive. This is my humor section with comic books, etc. But here goes: 1) Little Follies by Eric Kraft (this guy writes GREAT humor novels, not read enough); 2) Women of Substance: A Collection of Estrogen-Rich Cartoons by Revilo (mostly fat chick cartoons. Got this in a re-sale shop for cheap. It is OOO.KKKK. only); 3) Wobegon Boy by Garrison Keilor; 4) The Trenton Pickle Ordinance And Other Bonehead Legislation (an old book about stupidly-passed laws); 5) Lies And the Lying Liars Who Tell Them (Franken RULES); 6) Re-zoom by Istvan Banyai. This is a really cool picture book where the artist zooms in on a fine detail and for the rest of the book gives a broader and broader perspective. The first book was called "Zoom." This, I believe is the second. 7) I'd Love to Help You Out But I'm Pretending to Work that Day, the 2002 Dilbert Date Book by Scott Adams. No point in throwing it out: it keeps giving and giving. 8) Groovitude: A Get Fuzzy Collection by Darby Conley. This stuff is WAY funny and I don't even have an evil, capitalistic, trollishly-ugly cat! (No cat at all, even) http://www.comics.com/comics/getfuzzy/ 9) Dilbert Gives You the Business; 10) The Essential Wolverine. I have been in love with "Logan" since 1983 when my high school boyfriend's younger brother, in attempt to dethrone his brother, gave me some of his Wolvie comics and I got addicted. If my mother hadn't thrown those out, I've seen them on sale for hundreds each recently!
