  • Cats tend to reach close to their adult size by 1 year old, but may continue to grow slightly until they are 2 years old. (This of course refers to overall growth, not horizontal growth due to too many kitty treats!) This generally hold true for all breeds of cats.
  • Bengals usually take 2-3 years to reach their full growth. I think they reach full coloration by the age of 1 year though. Growth can vary a lot by breed. Ragdolls for instance take about 4 years to reach full adult size and coloration.
  • "The average Bengal is not fully grown until it is between one-and-a-half and two years old. At maturity, an average Bengal female will weigh between 8 and 10 pounds, while an average male will weigh between 10 and 15 pounds. Some adult male Bengals may weigh in at 20 to 22 pounds, but this is unusual. Dec 13, 2016" Be prepared because Bengals are. NOT a normal cat. They are exceedingly intelligent and they need LOTS of enrichment and that doesn't mean the usual cat toys. When they get bored that is when the damage happens.
