You can eat that. The only part you don't want to eat are the lungs. (Dead man's fingers) It's a pointy looking group of "fingers" that look very fibrous and different from the other meat.

IF you like lobster, that "green part" is called "the tamale". AND in addition to the "dead man's fingers" or "devil's fingers" as I was taught (which is what they are known as in crabs) - in New England - the only other part which shouldn't be eaten is "the sac" behind the eyes.
