  • Well, God's Kingdom is not of this earth. So, that would be rather inconsistent. Second, I'm not sure it wouldn't contradict people's free will ( I'm not sure because I feel your question is a bit confusing. Sorry).
  • As a follower of Christ, YES!!! Yes, I would! :) It would be Heaven on earth! And according to the scriptures, in Heaven there will be no sadness, no pain, only joy. Who wouldn't want that??
  • It is a bit of a trivial matter, for that time will come soon enough.
  • What exactly does that mean?
  • If it could make everyone obey the 10 commandments, then definitely!
  • I wouldn't vote for it but I would choose it above all over types of governement. Couldn't be any worse.
  • Hell no. Have you read the old testament? Do you really want armies coming to rip the children from women's wombs as punishment for disobedience? Do you really want gay folk stoned to death? Do you really want unruly teenagers stoned to death? Do you really want sea-food eaters to be stoned to death? Head to the new testament. Do you really want people zapped to death for lying about how much money they dropped in the collection plate...? Men to be prohibited from growing their hair long if they choose? Women prohibited from cutting their hair short if they choose? Women banned from speaking in church....?
  • SOME IMPORTANT EVENTS RELATED TO GOD’S KINGDOM • Jehovah announces his purpose to produce a “seed” that would crush the head of the Serpent, Satan the Devil.—Genesis 3:15. • In 1943 B.C.E., Jehovah indicates that this “seed” would be a human descendant of Abraham.—Genesis 12:1-3, 7; 22:18. • The Law covenant given to Israel in 1513 B.C.E. provides “a shadow of the good things to come.”—Exodus 24:6-8; Hebrews 10:1. • The earthly kingdom of Israel commences in 1117 B.C.E., and it continues later in the line of David.—1 Samuel 11:15; 2 Samuel 7:8, 16. • Jerusalem is destroyed in 607 B.C.E., and “the appointed times of the nations” begin.—2 Kings 25:8-10, 25, 26; Luke 21:24. • In 29 C.E., Jesus is anointed as King-Designate and proceeds with his earthly ministry.—Matthew 3:16, 17; 4:17; 21:9-11. • In 33 C.E., Jesus ascends to heaven, there to wait at God’s right hand until his rule begins.—Acts 5:30, 31; Hebrews 10:12, 13. • Jesus is enthroned in the heavenly Kingdom in 1914 C.E. as “the appointed times of the nations” end.—Revelation 11:15. • Satan and his demons are cast down to the vicinity of the earth and bring increased woe to mankind.—Revelation 12:9-12. • Jesus oversees the worldwide preaching of the good news of God’s Kingdom.—Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20.
  • No. im tired of people fighting over which god is right. so i propose that we vote for paganism to come back and Greek and Roman mythology! that way there are like 400 gods to choose from and everyone can be freaking happy
  • unfortunately, I don't have the words to express my desire for that event to take place. Make no mistake I'm not talking about the rapture, Hagee's self exaltation, or the general beliefs about the Kingdom. I'm talking about the Kingdom where human beings are changed into Children of God. My understanding says, the individual cannot rule himself, nor can mankind. We are by nature self-destructive and we are going to get to the point where if God doesn't intervene it will be as if humans never existed.
  • That would be amazing. Even if the people didn't choose believe in God, I see no reason why a world where everyone follows the ten commandments and morals set in the bible would be bad.
  • Nah enough with dictatorships already LOL
  • I would want to see His Name on the Ballot. God is not his name.
  • If it is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, yes, yes, yes!
  • no, I'd rather live in a peaceful kingdom, where I can love who I wish, eat what I wish, etc etc, without some egotistical maniac having a issue with it. Also to live my life the way I see it needs to be lived, not following some book.
  • Those who love the darkness and want to keep things hidden will not want the light to come. Those who are tired of this world and its shortcomings will welcome the change. It all depends on what side you find yourself on. And thanks so much for speaking in terms of the "Kingdom," since it is so rare that people remember the Original Kingdom Gospel that Jesus was actually preaching. (Since many have been diverted on to the Pauline Gospel) This resource explains the difference between those two and expands on your original question... http://gospelenigma.com
  • No. We have enough prejudice and conformity in this world. And people would use that power to their selfish advantage. And people like me who are disabled would still get no sympathy, unless we totally devoted our less-than-capable lives to their case. Christians generally aren't as nice as they claim to be. And they're only selectively nice. When it comes to anyone who acts different, they're right and we're wrong (and this doesn't go only for disabled people btw).
  • Bible thumpers might as well be Trekkies - living their lives believing in this fiction. Answer: No way!
  • No Way. Religious extremism is the most dangerous thing on the planet. It creates artificial differences between people and is responsible for more death than any other disease.
  • Only if God himself was the boss. No delagating, he'd be a visable force in a perfect world.
  • Absolutely not! We have enough totalitarian regimes on this planet already. We don't need one running the entire world.
  • Good lord, NO!
  • No, because religion is the true root of all evil.
  • No, because I don't trust in that kingdom, there are a lots of messed up thing done in the name of God and he seems to bare a wee bit of a grudge to me...
  • whether i vote for this kingdom or not is of no consequence. this kingdom is coming to earth in the very near future like it or not. in the beginning of mankind, man chose to become independent of God's direction. this is why now we have so many problems. man has come to the conclusion that earth really does need a one worldwide government. man has failed miserably in managing its affairs. this is why the prophet jeremiah said that man is not capable of ruling himself. bible prophecy points to the time that God's kingdom will wipe out all opposing governments and establish itself here permanently. (daniel 2:44) the warning is being sounded out now to change or we cannot expect to survive the coming destruction. the survivors of the end of this system of things will have complied with the requirements found in the bible. this is the kingdom that doc 2000 is writing about, and the timetable that shows that Jehovah God has been very much aware of earthly developments throughout the ages. for more information go to www.watchtower.org
  • Yes I would.
  • Unfortunately we don`t have much say in the issue. God`s Kingdom does rule over all mankind, regardless of what we "vote", or wish.
  • Yes, because God is the supreme being, perfect abobeall things. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light.God is always just and fair. He loves everyone just the same. If God ruled the world, it would be a billion times better than what it is today. If anyone wants to disagree with me, than go ahead. But this in not just my opinion, it is the only real truth anymore.
  • I have cast my vote for Jesus.
  • Yes: If you relate to the new order of The wisdom of The King of Kings in the New Testament. All The King desire is for all of us on this planet to do right by our neighbor, and the homeless and the poor. That is not too much to ask of us as his children, and to live by the Big 10! I belive if the commandments of the Word of The King was trully appllied to all of our lives without any room to breathe life would be much better.Take 1Cor:13 Plus The King will rule and cannot be stopped. One day wickedness will not exist on this planet.
  • i already have
  • Absolutely not! Mostly because there's no empirical evidence that such a thing exists or ever could.
  • Hell no.
  • That vote will be taken 7 years after things get really bad anyway. Fittingly, they are not for it either, for it is prophesy to reject His 2nd advent.
  • No, because such a vote should never occur. In fact, I'd say that such a vote would go against one of the most essential rights bestowed upon mankind by "God's Kingdom": Free Will. If a ruler with absolute power can be elected based on a majority vote, then the minority no longer has the free will to choose "God" for themselves, which goes against one of the most basic rules under which "God" is said to operate. And even if it weren't illogical, it would still be unwise. People vote for presidents and governments because those institutions are in place to protect their freedoms, not rule over them. When you elect a mortal leader, that leader can be questioned, and if need be, overthrown, a God, almost by definition, cannot be. Would you really consider it wise to elect any person or entity to have absolute, unquestionable power over all mankind?
  • nadda chance. Too hateful for my taste.
  • Which god and what does this kingdom look like?
  • No way. If I get my pick I'm goin with the 'sgetti monster, they have a beer volcano in heaven
  • Yes. But I wonder how MUCH I and others would be disappointed, because I bet we all have some, um, learning to do.
  • The difficulty is whose God we're talking about
  • I might, yes... But I would certainly have to put a clause in there that stated how I wanted NOTHING to do with most of the rest of the religious in the group.
  • I'm not so sure I would want it that way. I think I would rather he/they just observe as they do and advise us/guide us in the ways they already may. I feel as if they ruled over all mankind it could create a stir-maybe even HumanRace vs. God's Kingdom...interesting concept for a videogame-or not. haha.
  • If you really believe in God why would you ask such a question? Can you imagine how huge the universe is and what a small ...infinetly small thing the earth is.. Wow and you want to have a vote about what God's position is in the world....WOW
  • absolutely...and it will some day ....but it will be by the willingness of mankind....those who love and obey...mind there might not be many...only 8 survived the Flood....
  • I presume you are christian. If so, which "god" are you talking about? The god of the Old Testament? "arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully"? or the undefined "heavenly father" from the new testament? Quote from "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins.
  • It will eventually. To answer your question, yes I would vote for it.
  • My vote would be 'NO'. I'd be afraid that such an obvious dictatorship would simply go to whichever god had the largest and most lethal army. Exactly which god was it that you had in mind?
  • I HAVE voted...with my feet... (Acts 20:20) while I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house.
