  • Protect yourself from society? Not sure what you mean by that but... You might want to discuss this issue in detail - in therapy. Or give more details here so we can understand what's behind your problem.
  • truth says good things about you. stuff you like to do. foods you like to eat. people you like to be with. music you like to listen to. lies are stuff you dont want to remember. bad experiences you dont need to share. friends you want to forget. books you didnt enjoy reading. movies you thought were a waste of time and money.
  • I think you may be thinking too much instead of trying allow yourself to feel things and go with the flow. Try reading "The Power of Now". I think it may be helpful to you.
  • At this point I would highly recommend you look into therapy because you aren't ready for a relationship. Where you are emotionally almost guarantees a break up.
