  • No. If you love what you do, it's not work.
  • I guess so but that is my usual day.
  • That's too dedicated...borderline workaholic. There's so much more to life than work. In the end, is your job going to appreciate how much time you put in, or is your family?
  • Killing your feet and slowly yourself.....are you sure you're getting paid enough to put that many hours in?
  • My boyfriend often works that much...sometimes more. It's not that he's too dedicated, it's just what he has to do. He drives a semi-truck so, sometimes he can be gone for a couple days at a time. But, it pays the bills so I can deal with that. Plus, he loves what he does. I support him fully.
  • Right now, no. I moved 1000 miles away from anything familiar. No friends, no family, no social life, nothing. I regularly work 10 hours days, and put in the occasional 14 hour day with no complaints. I enjoy my work, and the company of my coworkers.
  • Maybe if you don't need to. But if it's your business and livelihood and at times it needs you and your family doesn't need you more, than it could be okay. But for most people and situations, yes, it is a lot of hours to take away from the rest of your life, even if you love what you do.
