What came first the Ice Age or Jesus Christ?

According to wikipedia, the last ice age ended roughly 10,000 years ago- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_age Jesus was said to have lived around 2000 years ago. If there was an ice age during the life of Jesus, it probably would have got a mention in the Bible (I don't think he would have worn sandals either)

the bible doesnt mention the ice age... or the dinosaurs... so they must not exist :P

Thinker Yes, the Bible does mention dinosaurs. The word "dinosaur" was not coined until the 1840s. in the Bible they are referred to as "behemoth" See Job 40:15-18

Jesus Christ existed before he became flesh, came to the earth 2000 years ago, and was named Jesus. In reference to Jesus (the Word) John 1:1-4 says: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." "The same was in the beginning with God." "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." "In him was life; and the life was the light of men." So, the answer is Jesus Christ

There is no conclusive proof that there ever was an ice age (it is just widely accepted). Everything that they use as support for the ice age, also could have been caused by a flood such as occured with Noah. Interestingly, much of the stuff they use for support of the ice age actually is better explained by a worldwide flood.

The ice age never came, though ice did come immediately after the flood, for wooly mammoths were preserved in glaciers for MANY years, and they found fresh vegetation in their mouths, and it is thought that the climate change was so radical that they were frozen spontaneously, while grazing. The Flood definitely predates Christ, for it predates the Jews, and Christ was a Jew.

Christians believe that Jesus Christ is God. Through Him all things were made." So from a Christian viewpoint, the universe was created through Jesus Christ before any of the Ice Ages. Revelation 1:8 states: "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "the one who is and who was and who is to come, the almighty." Alpha is the fist letter of the Greek alphabet. Omega is the last letter. God is revealing the truth that He (or She) is eternal. He has been here from before the beginning (the alpha) and will be here after the end (the omega). Jesus the Holy Spirit and God were in the very beginning before creation. That is why the Bible states about God saying "let us". God is the Father Son and Holy Spirit.
