Have you ever raised a puppy? Did you do a good job?

Yes I have raised a puppy into a full grown adult. I figure that since she hasn't eaten any small children, bite the mail-carrier, doesn't potty in the house (unless sick) I've done a bang up job.

Yes I have, and I think I did a pretty good job. He's a very good and obedient dog. :)

Yes, several, all the way from the happy bring the newest member of the family day to the very, very sad, take him/her to the vet for the last time day. I had many fine, happy dogs in my life.

I've raised many puppies and I think I did a very good job. Great raw food, good safe surroundings, adequate vet visits.

Nope, though I've raised a number of kittens, and they were all excellent cats. People tell me my cats are like dogs - they follow me around, come greet me when I get home, come when called, beg for food while I'm cooking and are generally very friendly and cooperative. But they also walk themselves, groom themselves and only take up small corners of my bed at night. Raising a puppy makes me nervous I'd do it wrong and turn out a disobedient or less than ideal dog.

I have 3 now that I raised from puppies. They all turned out really good so I guess I did a good job.

I at least half raised two and always felt guilty I didn't do enough for either.

Yes we have raised 2... both very good dogs. They have been trained well, example: our current dog rings a bell hung by the garage door when she needs to go out side. We have only had 2 accidents in 6 years.

Yes I have! My Shih Tzu that I have now joined our family when he was 8 weeks old. He was so nervous about everything. It tooks almost 6 months, before he was housetrained. Because of his anxiety problems,he has behavioral issues, that he is still struggling with. He is almost 7 years old now, and it's been a challange,but we love him unconditionaly,and I know he loves us. So, yes I would say we did a good job!

yes, i have raised many! i raised german shepards...i got my first one when she was just 3 weeks old, bottle fed her, house trained her and taught her to do tricks etc. then i kept the runt of her first litter. did the same with her. and between them; they had 41 babies. all of them were wonderful. i have smaller dogs now!

I have raised at least 3 other ones where older when I got them,but the three I raised know not use the restroom in the house and they knew to stay with me everywhere I went in the yard or the house.Very good people dog cause I take my dogs with me eveywhere, Right now I have only have one all the dogs I talk about are pitbulls.Smart Dogs!

yes 2... I think we did... The problem I have is the 3 boys... the dogs were good. I can tell the one we have now to pick up her raw hide or chew toys and she will take them to her kennel (now just used to sleep in with the door open so she does not get stepped on by the boys playing in the house)... she rings a bell but the garage door to go outside. you say go outside and she is waiting at the door. The boys you can tell to pickup something and they say okay but nothing ever is picked up no matter how many times you ask... in the morning I can not get them out the door to catch the bus on time. GEE maybe I should sell the boys and stick with dogs.
