  • What do you mean by reverse racism? Peopl hating there own race? Some claim to, but really it just seems to me that those people are filled with self-loathing anyway and they just want to have a scapegoat that makes them feel better.
  • I guess it's the opposite of being racist.
  • loving all races equally? sure!
  • "Reverse discrimination is a controversial term used to describe the perceived effects of government policies (most notably Affirmative action); namely that they benefit a historically disadvantaged group at the expense of discrimination against members of a historically dominant group. For example, in India, the term is often used by the citizens protesting against reservation and quotas." "In the United States, the term reverse discrimination has been used in past discussions of racial quotas for collegiate admission to government-run educational institutions. Such policies were held to be unconstitutional in the United States, while non-quota race preferences are legal. Harvard professor Roland Fryer, however, has argued that there is no logically tenable difference between "quotas" and "goals." The term has also been used in discussions about the practice of specifically awarding government contracts to businesses owned by women or minorities. Those challenging specific government or university policies have sought redress through the courts. Many legal cases involving claims of "reverse discrimination" are settled before they go to court. Some argue that affirmative action programs destroys unbiased competition, and that the United States is being hurt both educationally and monetarily because this lack of competition." • if some one is in the race and they reverse while in a race then its reverse racism
  • Racism is racism. No matter what word you put behind it or in front of it.
  • Whichever person hates another ethnic group it is still called Racism. I do not think there is such a thing as reverse racism. Positive discrimination maybe but that is not just about race but gendre too.
  • Yes, for though racism takes many forms, for it is sin, reverse racism to me would be hating on your own race. Those who hate that they have physical characteristics of their race, such as the eyes of the asians or whatever. If they hate their own race that they were born into, that is reverse racism to me.
  • Nope racism is still racism no matter what you call it.
  • Does that mean the cars race in reverse? :) I have to agree with most of the other answers. Reverse racism or reverse discrimination would still have to point to yourself. Racism is hatred or intolerance of another race or other races. So if you hate white people and are not white then you are a racist, not a reverse racist. Discrimination is treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit. So if you discrimate because someone is white and you are not its still just called discrimination.
  • I have to say yes, there is. This is something I brought up with a co worker once, and he laughed at me. I proved him wrong, it is real! Example... (Sorry, my intentions here are honorable...) White man says to black man, I cant believe those honkies are at it again... When the white man said Honkie, that was reverse racism. It has adverse effects, and can be used that way, subliminally... I hope this helps, great question!!! ☺
  • There is no such thing as "reverse racism" Racism is alive and well in every race
