  • I personally like listening to music when I go to sleep.
  • I never could sleep with the TV on but my husband could'nt sleep with it off. When my Mom died last year I found that I was thinking too much and could not get to sleep so I put in 'Toy Story' and I am out like a light before the first song is over 'friend in me'. Now I need to have some noise in the background.It's been a year so I think it is a habit either way.
  • I Like sleeping naturally and quietly, maybe with natural sounds like rain, wind and birds singing. A waterfall, not too big, is nice too.
  • It's better for your brain to sleep in darkness and quiet. It allows you to rest better.
  • The only way i can get to sleep is if i'm not forcing myself to sleep - so, if i lie there and try to sleep, it never works, if i have relaxing calm music then my mind isn't thinking about trying to sleep, thereby keeping me awake - so, music is good for me :-)

  • Adding a habit is easier to break it. Many people say that listen to music will affect their dreams and they will be tired during the day. If you don't depend on music while sleeping, just don't make this habit. People that need music to calm their mind have problems. King Saul in the Bible is an example.
