Scary movies. Although more often then not, they're a lot more comical then much of anything else. I like genuine comedy, so it's hard for me to laugh. Spontaneous and even unintentional ''comedy'' gets me laughing the most, so I'm not a fan of movies that specifically have humorous intent in mind. Unless it's certain stand up comedians or more obscure types of comedy rather then the common mainstream stuff, scary movies can provide a lot of what I'm looking for in real and hearty laughs. Of course, my serious somewhat freaky obsession of horror films must be pretty funny to others, sometimes.

I prefer comedies, especially the older ones (Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstien, etc.) My wife prefers scary movies (the Saw series, Texas Chainsaw Massecre remake, etc.) They don't usually SCARE us, but make us go "Eeewww!" LOL

Can't I choose both? :( I love a good scary movie when I'm in the mood for thrills and some great bloody scenes... but I love a great comedy too! I'm kind of an entertainment junkie, I like it all!!!!!! The best combo is a really bad scary movie, laughs and thrills combined!

Comedy all the way.... i like random comedy but i found Superbad hilarious. subtle humor is alway the best though. i don't like the stuff that seems to try so hard to make you laugh, as it's just not funny. some sitcom's for example.

the scarier the better. i've been a horror flick fan(addict) since 7yrs old. i've seen probably about every horror movie ever made. luv'em. really into "jig saw"(all the SAW movies) right now. can't wait for the next one to come out.

I prefer good movies. I don't care what genre they are in. Probably only about 10% of horror films are scary, and, about 10% of comedies are funny. I'll watch a movie in either genre as long as it doesn't suck.

scary movie set... both *.* comedy strikes a better note but sometimes what one mans funny is....... well its my nightmare............ still i pick comedy over scary any day.... but scary is more likely :()

Scary movies every single time! Give me the "Blade" trilogy, the 2 "Underworld" movies, and all the Day, Dawn, Land, Night, of the Dead movies, and I'll be happy as a "pig in slop"!

I much prefer comedies to horror movies. Most horror movies are more silly than scary. I prefer my comedy intentional to unintentional.
