I wouldn't bow down to her in England!
-
No, but I would give the slight nod of the head which shows a minimum of respect. After all, she is the leader (albeit ceremonial) of a major country. I'd do the same for an important Japanese bigwig as well. It's only polite.
-
HELL no!
-
HaHa yea right.
-
Um, I might nod. Maybe wink....
-
Yes.

I wouldn't bow "down". I would probably bow a little, but she's here and it's not necessary. Most of the time that stuff is for more formal situations anyway. She's still a real person, and as formal as she is (it's how she was brought up), she can still be "normal". Ever seen her boogie on the dance floor? Her life isn't all bowing and stuff.
-
I wouldn't bow at the waist. It is appropriate for men to do a neck bow from the head only. That and a handshake will do fine.
-
If it was the courteous thing to do, a simple bow might be okay. No deep curtsies as I'd never get up again. I believe in being polite to people, shaking hands or nodding, standing up when they enter, as long as it isn't like I'm groveling, I think it is basic respect.
-
I honestly wouldn't know how to act.
-
No. I wouldn't bow or cower to anyone.
-
No, it would be unseemly to bow to her as a monarch. Buddhist monks do not bow to royalty simply as a matter of form. If anything, it's the other way around. And nobody is worthy of respect simply because of what family they were born into.
-
As a matter of courtesy, yes I would bow.
-
Im in England born and bred and I wouldnt cow tow!
-
No, I'd say 'hello' and possibly drop my trousers Morrissey-style.
-
If she was visiting America and stepped up to me she would actually be stepping toward a television camera, so I wouldn't react at all.
-
Yes. It's a sign of respect. Though have any of you seen the Mr. Bean episode where he bows to hard and headbutts her? :D
-
Nope, I won't bow to her at home and I am certainly not travelling to America to do it; in my humble opinion she is an expensive tourist attraction for the UK and more ceremonial than anything else.
-
No, of course not. Why on earth would I do that?
-
I'd slap her a high 5....
-
No, I would extend my hand out to her, and hopefully, sneak in a hug.
-
If I was there I would out of respect, otherwise I would have no business being there in the first place.
-
NO, I wouldnt.
