Matthew chapter 24 verses 3-14 and also Luke chapter 21 verses 7-37 both discuss the signs of the "last days" and what things we can look out for such as wars, earthquakes, and pestilence on an unprecedented scale. 2 Timothy chapter 3 verses 1-5 talk about how peoples' attitudes would be in these last days. Many people are frightened by the term "apocalypse" (or "Armageddon)," but it will actually be a good thing because it really means God's war to end Satan and the wickedness on the earth, not an end to the earth itself.
