  • My opinion is that anyone who is pro-choice will get DRd and/or chastised here. And yes...I do happen to be pro choice. I do not condone it as an alternative to birth control. But in the instances of rape/incest or the life of the mother/baby being in jeopardy, I believe a woman should be able to make that choice about her own body.
  • Not if you are married, and she was 17. o.k. just tryin to give some p.o.v. don't take it personal.
  • I disagree!
  • Yes I believe so. We are talking about living humans after all. I very much realise that some instances are not what we want ie. RAPE. However the child/foetus should not need to suffer that horrible fate. Pass the child rather up for adoption. I also realise it will not be easy I am not at any point thinking the decision istaken lightly by anyone.
  • My opinion is that I'm irritated with biased questions.
  • I agree completely. I think it is arrogant to think otherwise. Even if you are pro-choice, I think you should at least admit to what you are pro-choice towards.
  • I'm pro choice, sorry
  • Agreed. I don't hate people who've had them, though, or anything like that. Mostly, I blame the industry that makes money off of it. Every person that I've ever known who has had one has regretted it somewhere down the line.
  • My opinion is that this is an inflammatory "question" of questionable value.
  • I don't think you want an opinion..I think you want a platform...
  • Different from yours.
  • Masturbation is murder, and I'm a serial killer with an axe to grind. Abort as much as you possibly can, we have a population problem.
  • Abortion is a women's choice you can ahve your opinion but you shouldn't judge. Its saddening to me that people are so closed minded and judgemental. There are so many reasons why a women would get an abortion, and not just as birth control or they are irresponsible. I know from from experience I got pregnant when i was 21 I was on the pill and had been with the same guy for 3 years. I wanted the baby at first he did too but then 2 months into the pregnancy he deicided that he couldn't deal and uped and left, we were both in our last year of college and only worked part-time, he lived with his parents and i lived in off campus housing and was paying for school myself, I had no family because I was adopted and me and my adopted family are estranged because my adopted father molested me from i was 3 until i was 9, he went to jail for 10 years and my adopted mother blames me for ruining her marriage even though he is obviously a pedophile, so adoption for me was a painfull subject, i had no one and no money, I could not have a child, if i had the baby i couldn't keep it and if i gave it up for adoption he/she wasn't guaranteed a safe life at the time i was 2 months and 2 weeks pregnant and i had the abortion. Today i'm married with a two year old and I have MBA in business, i still think about my baby but at the time it was for the best, both of our lives would have been ruined. So I guess that makes me an evil, immoral murder......it says in the Bible " He who is without sin cast the first stone" so remember all the commandments not just about taking a life, but about fornication, envy, adultery and honoring your parents. Look at your life before you judge others. I've repented of my sins and I know that the Lord is a forgiving God, and i know me having an abortion does not affect anyone else but me!! So it should be my decision and my decision only.
  • Then I am a murderer! In your opinion.
  • Since you have not responded to any of the people who have answered your question I can only deduce you were trying to start some kind of argument. The abortion issue has been done to death. Everyone has their own views and are unlikely to change them. I see little point in another pro-con debate.
  • I AGRE WITH YOU IT IS MURDER PLAIN AND SIMPLE
  • My opinion? I think you should ask more neutral questions. I think it is very sad when abortion is used as a form of birth control. However, I would not take away a woman's rights over her own body.
  • Until you are faced with the difficult, and sometimes unavoidable, option of aborting a pregnancy, you really have no right to dictate what's right and wrong. That is entirely a mother's decision, and while you are certainly entitled to your opinion, your clearly biased, hostile, and narrow-minded approach to the subject is not going to help anyone or change anything.
  • I agree it's murder. No matter how much you rationalize it you are still killing an unborn baby.
  • Yes, but it is the kind of murder that you can get away with, and that's....just delightful.
  • Closed-mindedness is the clearest sign of ignorance.
  • The Bible says that life basically starts when you start breathing. When your mother gives birth. The fetus doesn't have air pushing in and out of it's lungs yet, so it's life hasn't started. but i do think it's alive... i'm more on the "It's Not Murder" side of this argument. but seriously, i really think it's the woman's choice.
  • Yes i do belive that it is murder . murder that noone has to ansewr for. If you knowingly have tube shoved inside you to suck out your babys brain take a pill or whatever then Yes you are KILLING a child. many many people would give thier lives to have the very thing you are taking away.you maynot have to answer for it anytime in this life but, one thing is for shure . I belive you will have to answer to God. and his punishment will be grater then anything you can do here on earth
  • It is undecided, unknown, a question,
  • I agree 100%. Abortion is murder. Murder is the act of killing another human. And, let's see, abortion is killing another human. Some people claim the fetus isn't born and isn't human, yet it is just as much a human as anyone else. It can feel pain, it has a mind, senses, and maybe even emotion, it merely isn't developed yet. I think people should stop having kids in the first place. Look at this fucking planet! By the next century we'll have 10 billion people cramped in this world, all because people HAVE to have kids. There's enough people already, and it's not like it's really worth bringing another person up anyways. This place sucks, and overpopulating it makes it worse. So does the selfish slaughtering of infants merely because the mother couldn't properly make up her mind or was just outright irresponsible. How would you like to have your head sucked up by a vacuum? That's what they do to aborted fetuses.
  • If you live in the US, you are stating a lie. It is not murder here whether you like it or not.
  • Abortion is not murder or else it would be illegal. Simple answer to a simple question.
  • i agree.
  • I do not have an "opinion" I have a belief that Abortion is murder no matter how you look at it. I would NEVER kill my own baby.
  • My opinion is that its not. Deal with it.
  • Democrats are always right, what's your opinion?
  • Abortion is wrong and people should not be aloud to even be able to think about it. If people don't want a baby then they should not be having sex or they should use protection to prevent it. So, abortion is murder Period!
  • I like tacos.
  • if it were illegal it would be murder, it's not so it doesn't matter what anyone believes it is a fact that it is not illegal, having an opinion like this is a waste of time
  • Abortion IS murder, all with you on that. If you're having intercourse and aren't married and aren't even wanting to have a child, then don't bother with it. Giving in to your sexual desires only to kill the child is pathetic and selfish. The parent is the one who gives life to the baby, not takes it away.
  • I dont recomend it to ANY woman out there! I would personaly NEVER get one. I stongly believe that adoption is the best way if you really dont want a kid. But, it is a free contry and its a womans choise no matter how you put it.
  • I don't think it's murder, but I do think it's an ugly and horrible thing. Unfortunately, it's necessary in many instances.
  • That your are an idiot
  • I miss the Gong Show because the talent on display was top-notch.
  • Murder is illegal.
  • agree agree agree
  • Regardless its murder, but what if the girl who got raped gets pregnant with the rapists baby? Why would you wana go through your life seeing the face of your rapist in your son/daughter?
  • Abortion is not murder, period. That's my opinion!
  • i would have to say that i totally agree with you and it is very sad that so many people do it. But then there are some cases where the people dont have a choice. but then again i always say if u knew you couldnt take care of the damn baby what in the hell did you open your legs for...
  • I'm pro choice.
  • There are times when the murder of a person is needed. Those times are extreme and terrible. It's only then should it be allowed, not simply because the existance of that person is inconvienient.
  • Murder is a legal term not an absolute one
  • To some, I guess it could be considered murder. To others, a choice. It is my opinion that my own opinion counts for nothing when another makes a personal and private decision. I have a right to disagree with that person, but not to judge them or to force my opinion on them. That being said, they have no right to force their opinion on me. If you think about it, abortion may be the physical death of an unwanted child for whatever reason, but the cruelty of actually giving birth to an unwanted child, and then abusing that child on a regular basis, is murder of a person's mind, heart and psyche. A far worse crime, in my opinion. Ask anyone who suffered childhood abuse and the resulting damage if you don't believe me. Its like the child they were born to be was murdered very early, and another more cynical, wary and defensive one took its place. One who could not trust, love or find peace in the world.
  • In my opinion it is not! Its a choice you make. You do not know the circumstances of the decision, who are YOU to determine something like that?
  • I've never been an advocate for or against abortion. b But, the truth is that I would rather a woman not have a child then wait until that child is born and abuse it physically and or mentally. If I'm wrong then you tell me different.
  • I don't really think so, unless you intentionally had sex, and either forgot to use protection or some other reason. The bottom line is: you had sex with someone you were in a relationship with or a one time thing, knowing the risks that are always involved with having sex using protection or not. With these circumstances, I don't understand why people choose to go with abortion. You knew what you were doing so take care of your "mistakes". The ONLY reason I ever believe it is ok to have an abortion is if the woman was raped. Period. There should be no explanation as to why or why the child even deserves to be born. That rapists genes should not be passed along and the pregnancy should be aborted. This isn't murder... look at what the mother went through and what she will be going through "nurturing" the child until it is born and having to go through the pain of giving birth to it.
  • Yes, but killing is acceptable in most situations in modern society. We accept many thousands of deaths will be caused when we decide to bomb another country (and we have bombed MANY). We accept that perhaps hundreds of thousands of lives will be lost due to famine and drought in Africa as a consequence of rising temperatures (but don't take away our Hummers!). We accept that hundreds of thousands will be killed by heart and lung problems due to smoking (but don't take away our cigarettes!). When it comes right down to it, there really aren't many situations where it's NOT considered ok to kill others.
  • i agree. the baby, even if unborn, still has a right to live. it is a seperate entity from the mother.
  • Hunting for sport, child exploitation such as child beauty pagents, the numerous legal scams run by insurance companies and credit card companies, the marketing of unhealthy and borderline poison food and beverages like energy drinks marketed to children called "Liquid Cocaine", how about candy cigarettes, the various allowances of the patriot act such as phone tapping at will and internet activity monitoring, the extreme graphic violence in video games marketed to kids and teens, abuse of inmates in the prison system, extreme use of "probable cause" by the police force, there's a lot of 'em.
  • That you are a judgemental dickweed.
  • the same one you have
