  • Sorry to hear that. I had a great-grandmother who passed away at 102.
  • What a wonderfully long life your Aunt had. I am sorry for your loss, even though she had a long life I know you will miss her. I had (hope I get my "greats" correctly) a great-great aunt who lived to either 105 or 107. Her sister, my great-great grandmother, lived to 98. She still had a vegetable garden she tended and lived alone out in the country. My great-great grandfather died 2 years before her at 96. They outlived 5 of their 9 children.
  • My grandfather was 101 when he died, my father was 99..I hope I didn't inherit the gene..lol :) My condolences on your loss (hugs)
  • Very sorry to hear that. It is great to hear she lived to be 100 though. I think the oldest in my fam. would be my Grandma living to be 83 years old
  • I am so sorry for your loss!I'm sure she was a wonderful woman! I had a grandfather who was 101 when he passed. Unfortuately the women in our family have all passed in their late 60's early 70's.
  • I'm sorry to hear that, Sheryl! My great grandmother lived to be 104. The others lived to their 80's, which given their lifestyles was a bit of a miracle in it's own right. Sorry again for your loss.
  • Wow that's a great age...sorry she passed Sheryl...I think the eldest relative I had was 87 and that seemed pretty old :(
  • So sad, 100 is a great age. I have no relatives that attained that age...doesn't bode well for me :o(
  • I'm so sorry to hear that Sheryl, my deepest condolences. I'm not aware of any relatives who lived past 100.
  • So sorry to hear of your loss Sheryl, my thoughts are with you honey. I think my oldest relatives were about 88/89 when they died, no older i dont think.
  • my mother's maternal grandfather (my great-grandfather) lived from 1877 to 1980, so he died at 102 when I was 19...and his mother lived to be 104...
  • Both my grandmothers passed 100. Unfortunately, the males in the family fare not so well.
